Submitted the application online on Dec 27 . Interview  scheduled at the end of March 2023 . April something , the week after Easter the oath ceremony . 

Thank God , after four and a half years since coming to the US , I ' m close to the finish .

Hello , 

Can someone who has his new green card  please take a look at the expiration date ?

My card was issued in 2019 and expires in 2032 . My I 751 just got approved in December .

Also , although I got the card just fine in the mail , on my USCIS account it says that the post office returned it to USCIS.  

Wondering if the card  has the correct expiration date and trying to contact USCIS without much succes . 

Any advice  welcomed !

It was a joke . I was hoping biometrics will be reused .   My face looks so much skinnier than two years ago . 

I came on a K1 visa and had my biometric app and interview at the AOS stage ,here in US . I hoped  USCIS would waive my new bio app but not such luck . I guess cause I lost some weight since having a fussy newborn ?☺️

Hello all, 

No movement on my case ( I got my extension , thanks USCIS )  since received on April 2 except yesterday I got  in mail  a notice for the biometric app for Aug 27 . No updates on both USCIS websites . Nebraska service center . 

I hoped by this time I'll l have my green card , but no  ! 

@elmers   Hello , where did you check the status of your application ? On the USCIS case status check ?  My case was received on April 2 , and assigned to Nebraska too . No news  since I got my NOA on April 26 .

Sadly I didn't receive any text msg or  email from USCIS  .I included the proper form  at both stages  : AOS and Removal of conditions . It is extra work for them , I guess . 

@anjad22.   IMO You have enough evidence without the affidavits  . I had far less because we were living in my in-laws house and didn't had utility bills or rent in our name . If you still decide to include the affidavits ,send copies .

I   got my extension letter without problem .

Sent my I 751 packet on 03 /31/2021. Received 04/ 02/ 2021  with USPS

No txt msg from USCIS 

NOA received in mail 04 /26/2021.

Paid by credit card .

2 year GC expires at the end of May .

No problem with anything , thank God !

In my case they were still processing my EAD and AP , up to 2 weeks after my interview

The other question I'm asking is what is the underlying petition is it the petition for the original i-129f or is it the more recent petition for the i-485. I entered the receipt number for the i-129f 

NOA 1 of K1 I -485  . Submit again as supporting document copies of I 797 for I 129 f and mom's I 797 ( NOA 1 ) for I 485 ( probably USCIS lost them ) . Can include copy of mom's greencard

@Penguin_ie If planning to stay more than 90 days in a UE country , bring one of your expired passports .  I spent more than 90 days in a UE country ( I ' m a dual citizen ) and couldn ' t check in on line here in US . The airline refused to board me on a US passport and no Visa to the respective country . Good thing I  kept my UE passport even 15 years after it expired . With that one was able to board the flight . 

They ask about the time you became a LPR so if in  2015 you were a legal permanent resident , even without an income you should answer yes , and explain why .

Returned to the agency means the verification was completed and is returned to the local office and is sitting there . I had to go back a second time .

Anyone who is fluent in both languages can be an interpreter for the interview . ( Just not the spouse , in case  immigration wants to interview you separately ) . I translated for a family member without any problem. 

At the interview the IO  asked   first bio questions ( name , DOB )  how did you meet , why after marriage you decided to live in US and not in my spouse ' s country then she went over every line in the I 485 form  . Didn ' t ask for anything else 

Look on  the website where you filled the DS form . They have a customer service nb  for your country . Maybe they can help .

IMO , the answer is yes . Explain at the end of the form , why .
