Contact is of two forms. One is your status on CEAC and the other is when the embassy contacts you with the P3. Of course, as it has been said you can go on the website and download all that is needed. You can also go back through this thread where I have posted many links to use concerning the UK. That is where you should be engaged now. You should change your nik to HandfulOne1! :jest:

@Greenbaum Thanks (again).  I know some of my questions are repeats, but my nerves are a wreck and consequently seeking reassurance. Your time and feedback are apperciated. Thanks so much..HopefulOne1 A.K.A. HandfulOne1 :lol:

Oh good grief! So, when should my fiance schedule get his interview scheduled?

This is what the email we received said:

Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.

    Next steps:

Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa interview.

I checked my case status and It's "In Transit"!! yeah!

I have the case number and invoice number. Can I actually schedule an interview or I should wait for packet 3 or the status has changed to "ready"?

We're waiting for the official package to come in the mail. We want to make sure our ducks are in a row and not rush through things.

Just tried the DHL hack again and it worked! It's on it's way to the embassy and expected delivery is Friday 😀

If you have called up the NVC and have your LND reference number then you can procceed

As per what @Wuozopo stated in page 1 of this very thread

    "

If you get in the system, then you're "allowed". Otherwise it would say "case not found" or something like that.

London's set up is based on assuming a beneficiary will not know what to do next in the process until they receive their letter of instruction from the embassy saying-- we have your approved petition so you may apply for a visa now. And they tell the beneficiary the instructions are found on their website https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

That's only way many people know what to do next. Noteverybody is on visa journey picking up tips and tricks.

@ConnorSYes, thank you I did read page 1. However, with something so important I don't want to take chances or make incorrect assumptions. Thank you for confirming!:)

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) in transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

@ Greenbaum would like to see the P3 for London. Thanks!

You can only schedule your medical after you have received your  NOA2 (you can track the status of your case here with USCIS https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) and your case has been transferred to the NVC.  Once the NVC has it you can call them after roughly 2 week, maybe a little more and pester them for your new case number which will begin LND, as your embassy will be London. They can be reached on 1-603-334-0700.  Once you have the LND ref this is the point in the process you are able to book and carry out your medical.

The best time to call is right at opening from what I have read in here. Once you receive your LND case number you then use this website to track your case https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV  to see your visas progress status.

    Good luck

So, it's okay to proceed with scheduling the medical exam even if we haven't received the packet? Is it also okay to then schedule the interview?
