Can anyone tell me what's the julian date calculation? I think I'm missing something here

The way I figured it out was the 3 digits after the year (2019) for Eg. It could be 665 or 550 then you just add 500 to that (665+500= 1165)

then google a Julian day converter and it will give you the day of the month by just typing that final number in.... correct me if I'm wrong  but my date made sense that way

Oh make no mistake, I'm not complaining. I've been very lucky thus far. The rest is now a crapshoot because Casablanca is a very difficult embassy.

Also, I can't officially complain about the slow embassy, because I'm still at the NVC ;) 😂

No worries 😂 I was just pointing out we are all a little jelly of that quick approval but thinking about you and wish you all the best with your interview and journey from NVC TO CASABLANCA 😅

  3. Is it normal for the USCIS case tracker not to update that my case is approved? (I-129F)

My fiance got our case number and NVC Invoice number yesterday NOA2 was 9 May, would it be Naive to assume we might make the shipment next week Tuesday to the consulate in Johannesburg?

I have completed my DS-160  and compiled all the info for the interview, any other advise whilst I wait for my package to make it to the embassy?

    Thanks

    Hi all

I need help.. My visa interview date is on 6 June 2019 (next week). Unfortunately I do not have my unabridged birth certificate yet. I slipped up with this (I assumed my old form birth certificate was adequate) and applied too late, so will have to wait a few weeks for this. Should I still go for my interview next week or rather postpone the interview date? Would the embassy be lenient if I show up without my unabridged birth certificate (I have the short form birth certificate) and possibly ask me to send it through when I have it in hand, or will it be better if I change my date to end July and be sure I have my birth certificate by that time? I emailed the embassy to enquire about my situation, but I have not heard back from them and it has been three business days now. I have 4 police clearance certificates from countries I lived in. The first one of these expires 30 July, so I kind of have a time contraint for my interview date.

Thank you, I will be so thankful if anyone has advice!!

The best you can do now, if you have the extra cash, is use someone like passports 4 u, they can expedite the processing, I waited 7 weeks for mine from Edenvale office and they printed it on the spot (I suppose head office in PTA verifies the info) I know some members didn't have tax transcripts or police clearance yet and were placed in AP until the sent through the documents and still got their visas, may try mailing the embassy and explaining your situation?

I also made that assumption, fortunately I was able to get all my docs ready by now. Wish you all the best and a successful interview!

I read over your embassy's P3 where as the only reference to the documents needed to support the I-134 is "1-134 document accompanied by the most current tax returns from the petitioner."

If you wanted to be safe, and this is what I did, I copied from my bank statements only the cover page for the past 12 months. The cover page from your bank normally shows starting balance, withdrawals and ending balance. That should be all they need. Otherwise, go with just the most current tax return/tax transcript as stated in the P3.

@Greenbaum Thanks for the update, could you please share the pdf file for the P3 for the South African consulate?

Just getting all my ducks in a row and I will also prepare the bank docs accordingly

    Thanks
