Hey i have cr1 visa on passport and i am from europe my spouse is american i can travel ?

Based on official text and exceptions I think the answer is yes.

Yet, if you have been in a European country within Schengen 14 days before attempting to enter US,I think there is some ambiguity.

    This is my feeling.

I am in the same situation.I am in Greece visiting my family and want to return to US with a CR-1 Visa I have.

  2. Dear Konstantine,

I went through this process recently.

Yes, it is true that the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs Translation service does not add the famous” accurate translation from Greek into English”.

However,it does add an official translation logo at the bottom of the page ( written in English and French if you take a careful look at it).

This is what I did and I had no issues regarding the Visa Application process.

However,do not forget the Apostille in documents before translation....

Let me know if you need any more help.

    Best of luck

  3. I didn’t not have my vaccination record either. The panel physician tol

d me that through my blood test they will check if I need to have any vaccines which are pertinent to my age.

A week later the physician called me to get a measles vaccine as based on my blood test I did not have this vaccine as a kid.

So, the physician can check on medical exam day and tell you if you need to get any shots.

How is this correlated with racism or classism? The immigrants socioeconomic status from their home country doesn’t come into play- the US sponsor needs to be able to make sure the new immigrant doesn’t become a public charge. There would have been no way my husband (who comes from the poorest country in this hemisphere) would be on any public assistance because I signed an affidavit he wouldn’t become a public charge and took it seriously not like many people who say “it’s rarely, if ever, enforced”. He came to this country with literally a half-full suitcase. It didn’t matter because I was the one that would take care of him. If I couldn’t afford to care for my husband I would have made sure I got a better job, waited for his immigration, etc until the time was right financially. I think many people don’t and only want the immigrant to get here ASAP and figure out the $ part later- which can result in easily signing up for public assistance. America shouldn’t be a free for all and unfortunately too many people take advantage of the system long term.

In fact it is a form of socio-economic Darwinism hoping to lead “new US” into an era way behind apes.....
