Hey just want to update my fiance and I got our interview date for april 8th and we got approved...we were so excited and relieved and started tears of joy. I just came back from DR yesterday and my fiance is waiting for her passport which she just received a email saying is ready today. 

Still waiting and nothing yet. I see people in August that have already got a letter of  approval and I'm still waiting. I just wanna get to the NVC stage... This waiting is driving me insane

Today marks one year... One year ago we got our receipt number... and today we got nothing. Still no approval...

I called Friday and super nice lady told me we got approved. I recieved the letter in mail today. Both online account still showing case received.

Next station NVC...

My husband and I just had our interview in the Dominican Republic, they did not request for me to be there, but I wanted to be there.  I was allowed in and they did ask me a few basic questions.  I would encourage you to attend the interview.  Good Luck with your Journey!

just called uscis another agent said that it is still at Nebraska... So now I'm just confused... 

She said something along the lines ... if your case came to us NVC would have to request that... it was strange. If no approval in 10 days I will call back ... I just hope we are approved!!!

Really they changed it again. 14.5 months... Nebraska (July 20, 2018) is my date

Depends on if you want a letter telling you to wait an additional 60 days or not.

Me and my husband are in the middle of our CR-1 visa (currently at the NVC stage waiting to hear back from them to set up our interview). 
My husband insisted we hire a lawyer to help us with this CR-1 visa,  I didnt want to hire one, but I have been to the USA previously (yeaaars ago on a k-1 visa with my EX husband now) and for some reason I thought having a previous k-1 visa might make this cr-1 visa more complicated (I dont know why I just did). So I went along with my husband getting a lawyer.
 
 
My husband got us a lawyer. I wish I could have been in the USA to help look for one with him (im the beneficiary moving to the USA) because oh my lord our lawyer sucks.
 
1st problem:
> Our lawyer made us fill out a I-130 form (just for the lawyer) and then our lawyer took all the info and filled it in on his own on a different copy to send off. When our lawyer took our info from the I-130 and gave us a copy of what he sent, there was 20+ spelling errors. He would spell my name wrong on every line, our address's , our work info. I dont know how, we literally wrote down everything (and we double checked what we gave him and we had no spelling mistakes) and somehow he managed to have spelling mistakes everywhere
 
 
2nd problem:
> We gave everything to our Lawyer March 18th (my police cert, tax stuff, paid all fees, everything) to send to NVC since we are at that stage now. Our lawyer said he would send everything that same day March 18th. Our lawyer called us 2 days ago (April 10th) and told us he will send in everything to NVC on April 11th. Umm what? He told us he sent it in 24 days prior and he hasnt even started yet
 
 
 
Every since being on VJ ive had multiple people tell us we should have done the filing on our own. I wish I listened to convince my husband otherwise lol

Yeah me too. The good news is processing time on uscis site for nebraska service centre was coming back to june 23 yesterday , so yaaay! Our time will be coming on the next 2-3 weeks. I am so excited hearing a good news adn also avengers endgame on the next 3 weeks!

Oh man i am so tired and confused seeing processing time on uscis. Now after the site is back, the processing time totally messed up!. They move back to April 15th today when it was 20th of june like yesterday. I am stressed out.

According to Igor's list of VJ members, only 2 out of 37 July 2018 I-130s have been approved so far at NSC, it looks like they are still working on May and June filers.  So your time is coming very soon!!  Maybe April or May.
