Interview booked for January 11th so I can still visit my fiancé for two weeks over Christmas as planned.

Read for yourself, it was you who said. "leave the poor people at NVC alone so they can answer questions from others who may have more pressing issues" How does that sound to you. I could be one In a thousand phone calls that they get during the day, so me leaving them alone wont change a thing, but again I wont even get into an argument with you cause it's not worth it.  Thank you for all the help you have given me so far, I'm out of this website.

Ok. It's a new week and fresh cases with case numbers are heading out to the Embassies. I hope everyone is on board for this trip. Starts Tuesday and Wednesday. Be sure to check the CEAC website for status updates.
 
If you want an advance copy of your Embassy P3 letter just hit me up as I have most.
 
You can track you package from NVC to your Embassy by using this little trick. Caution: All of the cases on this shipment for your Embassy will include your case as well as others. So this shipment is not just your case file. Please don't ask "is my case in that shipment"!
 
Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to your Embassy then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:
 
EXAMPLE:
* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A  (This is the date you think it left NVC, just substitute the date and leave everything else as is)
* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011
* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011
Account Number - Leave this blank
Shipment Destination: Manila (Works for any Country Just replace the city where the Embassy is located)

My NOA2 was 10/17.  NVC only received our case on 11/14, and we found out today that a case number was issued on 11/23.  No need to worry, you will hear good news soon.

Congratulations to you!  So exciting to share in the joy with others when you know how big of a deal it is and how much it means.  Found out from the NVC that we were issued a case number on 11/23, so we are excited as well.  One step closer.

We Got Approved
So excited we got approved on Wednesday and I'm just now getting my head out of the clouds. This has been such a long journey so far!  I'm excited for the next steps! So grateful for this thread and all the information it holds. 

The NOA2 is valid for 4 months, in this time you have to apply for the visa at your embassy or you have to extend it.

Hello. Our case was received on the 12th and case number assigned on the 23rd. 

Hey guys.Who gets any info about NVC case ?

2 days of shipments with the majority going on the first day. FYI They are sending case files electronically and paper base. The Philippines are no longer issuing the "do not open envelope" as everything is in the system so the BP at immigration will have your "envelope" there when you arrive. They are slowly rolling this out to other Embassy's.
 
I would like to know what other embassies are using this method so if anyone encounters this it would be good information to know.

Got my case number today , now filling out my ds160 .

At Islamabad embassy interviews can be booked for within a month. I want to make it for my birthday in January
