Hi VJ family,
 
I am Oct 2018 filer and my I-360 just got approved. They issued new EAD under C31. My lawyer said there is no conflict in having both. Whenever the later one is going to expire, I’ll need to renew. 
 
My combo card is expiring soon so I need to renew as I am traveling to my home country. 
 
Should I renew only the AP or combo card? Is there a fee if only AP renewal?

I sent my combo card renewal 2 weeks ago. I will send my c31 renewal next month. So go ahead and renew it

You're welcome dear. Remember to include 2 passport style photographs, copy of i485, copy of the EAD to be renewed.These are the important documents.

I've filed EAD renewal myself not even asking my lawyer, also change of address and a lot of many other inquiries to the Vermont Service Center.
So, do not worry and file it.

No question is considered stupid, we learn everyday. 
 
-attach your i-485 receipt 
-attach your i-360 receipt 
-two color passport photos
- your copy of previous EAD and approved receipt for last EAD 
- copy of DL/international travel passport 
- customs I-94

Again..so many folks have done this successfully and still doing it..VAWA pending and all! But make sure you have a right standing in the eyes of the law..no prior deportation order..criminal offence etc..you're good!👍

Hi everyone hope y'all had a pleasant day.😊 anyway remember I posted couple of days ago about my status not changed to case approved yet..usually any update from USCIS I get text/email alert but I didn't! I just decided to log online USCIS site and behold here is what I saw..  
Case Was Approved
On April 26, 2019, we approved your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, Receipt Number EACxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address. 
I'm super happy now and feel great! Wonder why I didn't get the alert. Sometimes we should just go peep lol #peekaboo 👀😂😂

You will be next 🙏🙏 I applied 12/26/2018 and I got my card on hand 04/12/2019.

Hi everyone. Just finished my interview. It went very well. When the officer called me in, she was very nice and courteous. She swore me in and made me sign a waiver that I was willing to be interviewed without my lawyer present. She asked for my medical and I said that I had not gotten it done because the interview notice came only yesterday. she said it was no problem and that I could send it in before July 3. 
 
She asked me the bio-data questions on my I485 form. And then she said I know it’s very difficult to ask about the abuse so I won’t bring it up but I need You to answer these questions. tell me your husbands name, his birthday, the address you resided with him and the date of your wedding a which I promptly answered. 
 
Then she proceeded to ask me the processing yes/no questions.
 
then she asked me if I had any questions. I asked her if she had everything and if everything looked ok. She said she didn’t see any red flags. 
 
Then she ended with ok we’re done. When we receive the medical report, we will approve your case. 
 
 
Praise God! I’m so happy. I was very lucky because the officer was so nice and accommodating. 
 
Thank you to everyone in this forum. You all have kept me sane these last few months.

Hello everyone, just returning from my interview, it lasted for about 20 mins, he asked about my abuse a little how i met my husband when we got married,his birthday if we are divorced and i told him our divorce is still pending! He went to the yes or no question and asked about if i ever had any public assistance and i said yes he ask when did i started receiving i was really confused cus i don’t know the exact date that i started receiving it, so i kind of have mix feelings wether my pending divorce and that can influence my case. He handed a paper to me and said he can’t see any reason why my case won’t be approved and on the paper it says my case is under review! that i will hear from them 10-20 days please guys keep me in ur prayers i’m really tense !Hopefully my journey will be over soon!
