I'm starting to wonder if its like the people at Walmart arguing over a few cents when something was mistakenly put in the bargain pile.

This comes to mind:

Isn't the current exchange rate like 50 pesos to 1 US dollar. Who cares, I know when I'm in the Philippines I'm blowing money like T-Pain and Drake. I blow money like it's my job. I probably wouldn't notice an extra 10-20 percent. I will watch from now on though. I will be there in November. I haven't noticed it yet, but the bars and restaurants I frequent aren't in the mall that's for sure.

Because there was a problem with the appointment scheduling website with my fiancé.  she had tried to merge another account that she had is in and it wasn’t letting her get to schedule a date

Do you know that the majority of applicants get approved. Did you also know that the Philippines embassy is one of the easiest embassy to interview in. The interview will last 5 min tops! You'll be in and out and wonder why it took so long to get to this point with the hoops thrown at you by USCIS and NVC. Take a deep breath Dude. It now gets easier.

Yes,  This has been really trying for me.....I am not a patient person and the idea that some gov. employee gets to decide if I can marry my fiance sucks.......so yeah I am nervous about this whole process and can't  wait until its finally over.........

The website just came back up! We are approved! Oh my God I haven’t been able to stop crying my students want to know what the hell is going on. INTERVIEW APPROVED!!! The questions were her age, my age, how many times I visit her, if I enjoy the Philippines, asked what my work is, asked my address, and asked where we plan to get married. She didn’t ask for any documents. Interview was less than 5 minutes.

Me too....Every time I read of an approval on this forum my heart sinks.  I just don’t understand what’s taking so long  😞
