Ontarkie got a reaction from Redro in My mom will file her Citizenship case on 5 year lawful residency. I need help!
She is still legally married, but separated.

I cannot remember the forms so if it asks and will let her list her status as separated. Then list it as separated, if she cannot mark separated then she puts married.

What did she put her marital status in all her other forms up to this point?

I also thought I got into some poison Ivy well it turns out it is not poison Ivy and I have an antibiotic cream to use. Also had blood work to check for scarlet fever since I'm covered in a rash.

Went to the doctors today. I've been having trouble swallowing food. I have to wash it down with water. It only took me 3 months to actually look in my mouth to see how big my tonsils are. Well now I have to go to the ENT to get them out.

    Happy Anniversary @DaveAndAnastasia

I've been busy all week building a heated night box for the tortoises. Optimus Prime is now 3lbs and will be ready to be outside full time this summer. This is what I have done so far. The floor, walls and roof are all insulated with 1 1/2 foam insulation. Caulking all joints to prevent heat loss in the winter. I still need to finish the front wall with doors. This is 4x8 and will then be divided into 4x4 spaces. One side for each tortoise. Then they will have divided yards too. I will still need to plant some shade plants for them as this is a really sunny location.

They are all handled. They don't get to room around on the floor or they would disappear. But yes they get out.
Oh you really do not want to know.

The Expiration date is the date she must enter the US by.

The 90 days do not start until the date she enters.

This is where you need to be a bit persistent. They have the  records, they just don't want to look for them. They will not be digitized, so the person who you speak to needs to look them up in the old file log books. Then they will have to either send for them off site from storage or dig them out themselves. They are most likely stored off site.

No need to be rude or pushy, just plead with them, pull on their heart strings begging for them to help you find a way to track them down.

Just don't pay the NVC fees or submit documents.  You can delay the case indefinitely at NVC by contacting them at least once a year.

I picked up that crazy cat tower they have at Costco for the kitties. They are loving it. I anchored it to the wall. As crazy as teh girls get on their small cat tree, I figure anching it was a good idea. I'm glad they set it up that way.

Mom's Genius Way to Keep Cat From Eating Brother's Food Leaves Him Stumped

Sometimes being a cat owner is like being an engineer — you have to solve a lot of unusual problems.  Like what to do when one cat eats its fur-sibling's dinner every night.  How do you get them to stop?  Well one person came up with a solution, and video of them testing it out on their two cats has people cracking up online.

The cat owner had a problem — what to do about her hungry tuxedo cat Rocco Loco.  [...]

I've been following this forum from August 2023. My husband and daughter interviewed August 1, 2023. Our daughter was issued her visa August 1, 2023 but my husband was refused and given DS5535/221G. We have only received updates to CEAC in response to our emails, which we send about once a month. Our last update in response to an email was February 22, 2024
But after seeing updates from others on here, I checked my husbands status and we also received an unsolicited update for March 28, 2024! Trying not to get excited,  but it would be nice if it lead to something.

Ontarkie reacted to powerpuff in F4 visa refused - divorce wasn't final before current marriage
That’s a futile argument as the consulate relies on US laws, not the applicant country’s laws. “About to be finalized” is not the same as fully finalized so CO is right about that as well.

They can’t travel on the same case as the marriage was/is not valid at the time of adjudication and there is no basis for him to travel as a spouse on a F4 case.

I believe that’s the only option. The wife will have to sponsor the husband. Keep in mind it takes 5+ years for a Lawful Permanent resident to sponsor a spouse.
