I work in the events industry, both domestic and international. I have booked flights for hundreds of people, the general rule is to always book your international flight using the name on your passport. I’ve had people miss their flights because they booked their international tickets using other names not exactly as it appears on their passport. 
 
Airlines will check this and will charge you for a change of name, if it happens on the same day you are traveling. 
 
I travel internationally often and always book my tickets using the name on my passport. 
 
 

Not if you take your marriage certificate+ extension letter+ expired green card 

Yes, the original copy of the extension letter + expired green card is needed for travel.

I would definitely take the original copy with me.  I have not read anything about anyone having issues with a copy of the original, though.  Don't forget you need both expired GC and the extension letter.

For continuous residency requirements for any green card holder you should not be out of the USA for more than 180 days at a time (nearly 6 months). If you are away for longer you will impact your naturalization application date you can file for your n400. Also you need to be in the USA more days than the number of days outside of the USA during the 3 or 5 years before filing for USA citizenship.  
Out of the USA more than 180 days you will reset your time needed to apply for your n400 to three or five years from your return date.

Thanks. I'm being crazy and contemplating going back to England to see fam as I'm feeling so homesick. I moved here in April 2019, had a baby Aug 2020, and another Aug 2021. Covid came just as I found out I was pregnant so I've just been stuck indoors, obviously have done some things so I don't mean 24/7, however I know no one here. Plus hubby would be at home for the mail and I'm on thinking a few months

Yay! We got our Biometrics waiver notification, dated today, October 5!

We finally received our NOA1.We got National benefits center.I do not know whether this is the reason why we never received text or email notifications.This center requires interview? Is it true?As I cannot find any processing times on USCIS website regarding MSC processing times,does anyone have any idea about the processing time in this center?

So we had the interview, the interviewing officer shook our hands at the end and said congratulations and said that she can't see any reason to not approve our petition!!! Soo I guess pretty good!! I will do a full review shortly and post it where suitable

Hey all, had my interview today at Kendall. Was waiting an hour before they called us in, the lady was nice and we were possibly in there for less than 10 mins. she simply asked my name, DOB, address. Asked to see both our birth certs. Sad thing about the whole experience is she did not approve us on the spot, she said there were a few last checks that needed to be done. Case tracker updated to 'Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed''

Had our interview today. 
Case approved however somehow I-693 was lost. Officer suggested we get a new i-693 and drop it off. Should receive GC in few weeks once i-693 dropped off at a local office. 
 

Went to our interview today and were told that we are approved!!!!! Green card should come in the mail in 2 weeks 🎉
