And makes $$$$$$ doing it. Sweet life! 😃

@Successful Pinky just upload two both sections. This would eliminate any possibility of USCIS overlooking it.

FWIW, I know of a lawyer who does exactly that: uploads the tax transcripts twice as you describe.

My wife just got back from her Info Pass appointment today. We were seeking an extension to her Temp GC and they stamped her passport with the I-551 with a 1 year extension.

The process was very easy for those thinking and wanting to schedule one.

I called this past Tuesday Sept 6th and after waiting for about 25 minutes a very nice lady took all our information. She said they'd call us within 30 days. Well, for us they called us back in TWO days and gave us an appointment for the next day which was today!  They only let one person in so I didn't see first hand, but my wife was in and out in 10 minutes with her passport stamped. All they asked was the reason to which my wife responded she needed to visit her mother who is old and sick in Dominican Republic. No more questions and stamped her passport.

Anyone considering and/or needing an Infopass appointment just do it. We didn't wait until 30 days prior to her GC expiring and they still gave us an appointment. (GC expires Oct 24th). Good luck.

They ask you what the purpose of the form is, you should answer “immigration” and it will give you exactly what you need… which is a Tax Return Transcript

Yes. Create an online account with the IRS online and download the transcripts.

Yes. You can request a tax transcript from IRS. It will tell you the date filed as well as refund paid etc.Only the filer with a Social Security number or Tax ID # can request the transcript.

Your "current spouse's prior spouse" is your current spouse's ex-spouse.

I could be wrong here but I think you are interpreting this question differently than I am:

”What is your current spouse's prior spouse's legal name?”

I interpret this as: They are looking for the full legal name of the person your spouse used to be married to (your spouse’s Ex).

    Good luck.

Not sure of your timeline. It looks like you filed your i751 sometime early in 2021 with your extension letter expiring 2 years after your conditional green card expired.
If so, you could have filed an n400 in March of this year 3 years after your conditional green card was issued if you are still married to and reside with your US citizen spouse for all 3 years.
You can check out our i751/n400 timeline in the signature section below. Our i751 was approved about 25 months after filing and n400 approved around 13 months after it was filed after a combo interview.

USCIS status updates will sometimes change like that when they make changes to their system, perform maintenance, or do system updates. Unless you get “Interview has been scheduled”, I would just keep monitoring.
As for your question, I applied for naturalization while my RoC was pending, and my RoC got approved while the N400 was still pending. However, it was only about 6 or 8 weeks after RoC approval that I became a citizen and turned in my new 10 year green card again (happily!!). Our RoC interview was waived, and N400 processing was straight forward start to finish.
I was lucky and didn’t need an ADIT stamp, so no info pass appointment was necessary. My RoC approval came just about a month before the extension letter would have expired (they were 18 months back in my day).
    Good luck with everything!

When I went for My biometrics back in April, I was handed a pocket booklet with the civics questions, if your interview is near and you don’t have one, just go to YouTube or google, my friend used those and he passed with no issues.

@Successful Pinky you can apply if you're eligible. However, I-751 still needs to be approved. You may get a combo interview, or you may get N-400 and then be still waiting for I-751 approval.
    Good luck!

Successful Pinky got a reaction from OldUser in Citizenship pending ROC
    Hello everyone,

My conditional green has been extended for 24months and will expire on 3/20/2023. I have applied for the ROC but have not got any update since the last noticr
is “ready to schedule for an interview”.
I have been a resident since 2019 and been on my 3rd year March of 2022. Can I now apply for citizenship without  ROC approved yet / 10 years green card?
    Thank you for the response.

Nothing to do, you wait to hear from USCIS about your bimetertics. USCIS most likely will reuse your current biometrics in 2 to 8 months after you filed (may be longer). USCIS may schedule you for a biometric appointment if they need a new biometrics from you; you will get a notice of your appointment time and location if needed. Do not miss your biometric appointment if one is needed.

Simply you have to wait for USCIS to act liley months and months after you filed.
