You can have them done wherever your insurance (if you have it) will pay for it. Then you'll have to go to a US Civil Surgeon to get form I-693 updated with all your vaccines.

Your SSN card should arrive 2 or so weeks after your EAD/AP combo card arrives. It will also come in the mail.

Woohoo! Great news. With your application did you request a SSN? If so, it will arrive within a few weeks after your card arrives. If you didn't request one, you'll need to go into a social security office and apply for one. You will need a SSN to work.

I received my green card 8 days after my interview. I did not have to submit I-693 and they made no mention of my DS-3025 at the interview.

I'm happy you got the approval! When I got my EAD/AP combo card, I had only been approved for one of them online. You will most likely be expecting the combo card for EAD/AP in the mail. The SSN should arrive a few weeks after the EAD/AP card arrives.

I’ve been waiting since 4th of September, 77 days today. And to be honest , I’m not expecting the interview to be scheduled anytime before April 2020. So, my popcorn 🍿 bowl for the waiting marathon movies until then is filled to the brim !😊

I got another update this morning. AP approved yesterday. But the status for EAD changed from "New card being produced" to "Case is approved". Kinda weird with the order in which the status came. So I guess I will get a combo card for EAD and AP.
After getting the combo card in hand, doi need to visit the social security office for my SSN card? And in how many days do they usually send the combo card?
Also, do I need to have a social security card to start working or EAD card is enough?

Mine too! EAD status changed today to "New Card Is Being Producted" !! Sooooo happy! Considering being in Manhattan where GC interview times are crazy high, I'm so relieved I can start working again and visit my family back home!
Thank you all for your support through this painful journey! This isn't the end but very relieved for now

EandS2019 got a reaction from Mike&Tammy in BONIFIDE MARRIAGE- EVIDENCES - B1/B2
A lot of people get approved adjusting status from B visas, as long as their intention wasn't to stay. Remember that intention is determined at POE. OP has enough ties to their home country to have a B Visa. I have read numerous times on this forum where people ended up getting married in the US, selling their houses, leaving their jobs back home, having entered the US with genuine intention to leave. The POE officer already determined that OP wasn't going to stay, as long as they were honest and everything adds up they will be fine.
Me personally, I couldn't leave my job etc so I went the K1 route, but I can see how someone else's circumstances may change. Someone else might feel the need to stay, hence the AOS option is available.

So, today USCIS confirmed that my I-130 is now at the field office in Oklahoma City. At this point is has been there for about two weeks. I'm hopeful that we will soon receive a new interview appointment. No update on EAD or AP as yet. The wait continues, but I am at least glad to hear that the petition is in the right place and they should have what they need. It's been a month (almost) since the first "interview" so we've used the time to gather more evidence - added me to his medical insurance now, got my name added to another utility bill.
Tick tock.

Thanks buddy! Yes! Every filed office is different and that's why I check only for Denver FO cause that's where our case is and the cases I mentioned who got their AOS interviews and approval are from that FO and that's why it's making me nervous and frustrated.
However, I received an update for EAD few hours back on the case tracker that "New card is being produced". That way I have some relaxation now. The EAD is approved but the AP is still on the same status. Usually I have seen EAD and AP are approved simultaneously. Well! I guess something is better than nothing.
Now, I am not sure if I will get my social security number along with my EAD card or whether I have run around and apply for it again separately (I had requested for a SSN on my AOS form).

Sorry to hear about your case being stuck! I hope things move along soon for you. Just remember that each field office is different, some are taking longer than others to have an interview scheduled, and it's very unlikely that they lost any documents. I know it's easy to worry about many factors in this process. I don't blame you for being frustrated about it though, I would be too! Sending all my good vibes your way and hoping for your EAD before Christmas.

If you do have health insurance, use it to get your vaccinations! It'll help lower the cost for the USCIS doctor since most insurances fully cover preventative health care.

I'd totally recommend using yelp and search for green card medical. BTW insurance companies won't cover the costs of the medical but you might get a % refunded.

We were approved!!! IO only asked dates of birth and places of birth and confirmed 2nd marriage for us both. Asked the security questions from section 8 of the I-485 and if we hadn’t offered wouldn’t have asked for more evidence. He didn’t really need anything from us and had clearly made his mind up before we got there.
Old site has updated already!!
