Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

Wow! Congrats! Is that 6/25 old site or new? I’m 6/25 old site and 6/28 new. 

I actually can't believe this, we got our approval today!  NOA1 June 25th, NOA2 November 30th! So damn happy!! What a start to the weekend! Hoping you all get your approvals soon!

It is days like today, that the last month seems worth it and there's no need to worry. I know it won't be today that we receive a notification, we know that we could still be sat here in the middle of January with nothing...but to know someone's application, somewhere, in some state, in some pile on someone's desk is being looked at from June....that's a great uplifting feeling! 
 
Sidenote - I forgot how many late May to Middle of June NOA1 date timelines I subscribed to and yes each email notification makes me happy....until I realise you're just checking everything is correct, but still! 😁😁😁 

I think they discuss the WhatsApp groups in Russian-language forums; at least, that's what I got from what Anastasia told me.

Received an email that action had been taken on our case bright and early this morning. This was earlier than we were expecting based on averages on VJ and on recent Canadian cases, so yay! 
 
It’s a massive bonus that we are currently together and got to open the website and see what was up while sitting next to each other.
 
Onwards to the next steps in this journey.

When you use the website (USCIS) old one..the date listed is the "received date"  the new site (USCIS) will have a few days off that.  All the apps use the rec'dates pulling from USCIS also. Check for your comfort and adjust accordingly.  Good luck as we all wait.

Got our NOA2 today 31st Oct 2018. NOA 1 02 May 2018 Glory to God

I just had to post.  This is my first post here on this site.  I just got the NOA 2 approval in the mail today!  My fiancé and I are so excited.  We submitted the initial petition on may 7th, and were approved on October 23rd.  I only check my mail once a week, so it was probably sitting in the mail box for a couple days.  I just find it strange that I did not receive a text or email before I got the snail mail.  When I first sent the petition I got a text 3 days later saying that the USCIS had received it.  I have not received email, or text for NOA 2 yet.  I know we still have a long way to go, but this initial approval is a very important hurdle to overcome.

I am from Novosibirsk too and no matter where you live there is a website Gosuslugi https://www.gosuslugi.ru/ to use in order to obtain it easier. The only thing is if you aren't registered on it, you will need to go an extra mile to do that, but it is all doable, of course. To get the certificate once it's issued you'll need to go to the office, it took me about 30-35 days and a couple of minutes to get it at their office. I got it a couple of years ago, but I lived in more that one city. The one I got in Moscow this year took about 40 days, and I also did everything online. 
 
 
 
 

It ended up taking just about 5 weeks to get the certificate including delivery from Krasnoyarsk to small city outside Krasnoyarsk. They should partner with Amazon to get these things delivered faster 😄

For a K-1 or immigrant visa, yes.

Just copy the front side and put in the spaces provided at the end that nothing is written on the back of the birth certificate.
