we received a letter from nvc saying that they returned our case back to uscis for extended review. Its been over 30 days and we have not received a letter or anything from them. Our petition was approved. Also nvc gave us the invoice and case numbers along with beneficiary numbers. Has this happened to anyone? And if so how long is the wait? This k1 process has been going on since 2017. We probably should have just got married instead.

We waited from nov 2, 2017 until today jan 28, 2019. It seem as if it took forever, but we kept the faith that it would come one day. For those that are still waiting, have patience, its on its way.

I tried getting the congressman involved. that didn't work out to good. they told me its going to take about 15 months anyway you look at it. then I went to someone else and her team keep submitting inquiries on my behalf.

I don't know why they are doing this to us. Whatever the out come i want this done and over with already, so we can take our next steps. 

This is horrible, its been several months since i was last on here, i was very depressed.  But anyway we received our noa1 on nov. 2, 2017 and still have not received our noa2. Uscis claim they sent it to the local field office in my area. Its going on 1 year with no noa2. I have done everything in my power to find out why they are doing to us. I have reached out to the congressman, which didnt help, and the senator, thats when i received a email about it being in transit to local field office. I dont know what else to do. Can anyone tell me is there anything else i need to do , besides wait our life away.

Congratulations to all ....I am so happy for all of you whom have received their approvals, i am so happy that soon you will be with your love ones and starting your lives together. Unfortunately, we have not received ours yet. This system that they have is designed to make you just want to give up. When all we want to do is start our lives with the person we are in love with. It is so discouraging.
But, what can we do? We will just wait.

We are still waiting also, i am not happy to say but it seems as if they have completely pushed our petitions over to the side. And moved on with people whom applied way after us.  We are at ropes end. Do anyone have any ideas on whats going on? Or what else can we do? You know i could understand if we would have received an rfe or something, but we haven't received anything. Nada... Accept they are still processing our petition and haven't came up with a decision yet. We paid hard earned money just like everyone else that got and answer, and moved on with theirs lives, and starting their future.  My heart is just broken in pieces.

Have you heard anything back? We are still waiting too. Havent had an rfe or anything. Its been 8 months now.

I am so happy for you all. We have been waiting it seems like forever. Noa1 was received nov. 2. 2017. We still have not received noa2 or nothing. And today is June 28. 2018.
 

We have the same date as you. And we are still waiting. Todays date is june 29th 2018. It is so frustrating. I tried contacting them. On may 16th through the outside of  normal processing time through their website.
I received a reply 30 days later on june 16 saying they are stiil reviewing our case. When they make a decision, they will mail it to me. So each time you put in an outside of normal processing time request it will take 30 days if they dont get back to you sooner.

This is really the best idea and please READ about adjustment of status and removal of conditions BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING FURTHER. A lot of people seem to think getting the right visa is all that there is to it but the visa is usually only the FIRST step. It is always at least just ONE step in a process of MANY steps. I understand it must be even more daunting for those who don't speak English as a first language, have never been to the US or have very limited experience with the US but it is VERY important to understand how the whole process works. You are trying to secure your future in the US and the people you send your papers work for the federal government. They are not state or local; they're federal. That means if you make a mistake or they deem you unfit to enter the country, you can't do much to change that decision. They're not the nicest part of the government either and right now, immigration is a very very very sensitive topic in the US.

I submitted the e-form request on may 17 and immediately got a reply. That said they will process my request and reply back by june 6th....today is the 7th, and i havent heard from them.
