My fiance said everything about the embassy was great too. Just want into some complications but I still believe the courier was at fault. Other than that, it was a good experience.
It would say on it if its not able to be opened.

He'll be fine. I have never heard of anyone that needed the CD for anything.

The x-ray CD is your own property to use however you want.
They haven't accepted the actual x-rays in quite some time...there's nobody to even review them.
You'll be fine.

No one will ask for it at POE or anywhere else.    Can't give it away .. makes a lousy target even.      Yet my wife keeps hers ... 8 years later ..

That's what I told him, but he said the time he doesnt have it is when they will want it. He was able to get another copy though

Should not be a problem at POE.  Everything I have read here on VJ confirms that the CXR disc is not kept as part of the packet on admission.
 
In our case, it was handed back to my now-husband and it is somewhere on his messy desk.

Just wanted to chime in, on the conversation around the embassy in Stockholm for those preparing for that visit - it is a very nice place with friendly people! I went with my now-husband to his interview, and I couldn't go inside with him (we weren't sure if I would be able to or not), and the officer actually seemed almost sorry he couldn't let me in. Was not intimidating at all. I think it can be a little intimidating, just for the fact that it's something new you haven't done before. But my husband said everyone was nice and he didn't really have anything negative to say about the entire experience at all. It felt like he was in and out pretty quick also - since I couldn't go with him, I took a  taxi back to our hotel about 15 minutes away. I believe I was only in our room for maybe 20 minutes before he'd called to say he was done and headed to me.

Called postnord today. He said it arrived at my postal office store. Called postal office. Confirmed. My package is there. Today I'll pick it up and hopefully it's all in order. I recommend you call to the store its being delivered too.  It should arrive today.

Agreed. My fiance and I were talking earlier that's its crazy I can send him something from the USA and it gets there quicker.

On the paper he received from the embassy it said official proof of his name change. Yes you will more than likely need records..

My fiance has his interview in Sweden next Thursday (August 15th, yay!) But we are wondering if he has to reapply for the ESTA. He has come over to the USA three times on it, does he just need to update the information on it like normal?

My fiance is in Norway and he got his medical done before we got the email from the embassy.  You will have to go to 2 places.  1 for blood work, urine and xrays and then another one for the actual physical.  He was able to get both on the same day since he had to travel to Oslo.  There is also fees for both places.  When we called they sent us an email explaining what to do, where to go and the fees.  
 
Now we are waiting for his interview which is in 21 days.. :)

You will get an email from the embassy once they receive it from the nvc.
 
Some of the things you will need include:
 
-DS 160 confirmation page (cannot do this until instructed and will need to pay the $265 fee)
-birth certificate
-police records
-court records
-military records
-divorce decrees (court certified)
-I134 with letter from bank, letter from employer, proof of assets, tax return
-medical examination
-evidence of relationship
-translations of everything not in English.
