Don’t feel bad, I got one too! I checked it and it was from someone in March 2021. I guess the system had a glitch. Got a bit excited, but was very weary of it being true.

Well I've never gotten this vefore! Usually there is a date which is always changing, then this morning i get this "congrats you were approved" in my estimate. I got excited for a second so checked uscis. Nope. Still says "ready ro be scheduled"

Just got interview scheduled notice for Cleveland office for 06 September 2022.  We filed June 16th, 2022.  Didn't get an email update, so we were quite surprised to find the letter in the mail today!

Congrats.  It's a sad state with USCIS that you had to WoM to get your application processed while others got theirs within the normal processing time.
 
But, I have to admit, this topic caught my eye because of the numerous @Crazy Cat references.  I bet his notification is lighting up.  Hello, @Crazy Cat, hopefully this doesn't cause you to be crazier crazy cat.

Hi all,
This is just a summary of the events that led me to file a lawsuit with al lawyer called "Writ of Mandamus" to move my case forward.
Removal of conditions filed in July 2019.
October 2019 Fingerprints taken
No movement for 2 years. In the meantime all my fellow July 2019 filers had been approved.
In March 2021 my case was very much outside processing times, so I started contacting the DHS Ombudsman, my local representative and my 2 US Senators. Not one of them ever replied, nor contacted me in any way. With USCS I filed about 8 or 9 Service Requests. Not a single one was ever adressed. They were closed without any explaination.
 
After 30 months waiting, I decided to file a lawsuit in October of this year, within 3 weeks my Removal of Conditions was approved and my N400 interview was scheduled and last week I became a Citizen.
 
This should not be normal. Blaming COVID for these ridiculous delays is an easy excuse.
I have a strong case, both me and my wife have good jobs, I am not from a "conflictive" country (whatever that means) of course no criminal records and I pay a lot in taxes to Uncle Sam.
 
This process has been a complete nightmare to me and my family and I hope I never have to step inside a USCIS office ever again.

Received an 18 month extension two months ago and yesterday received another letter saying that my GC had been extended for a 24 months. The center is Nebraska. Had anyone experienced the something like that?

My NOA letter is also my 18 month extension letter and I received that a few days after filing.

I absolutely LOVE the VJ timelines I get every Sunday.  They teach me how I have no idea what's coming next.
Here's a quick forecast off my Excel sheet.  Our approval date will be sometime between 18 months ago and early 2023. 
Literally, I NEED this reminder every week. 🙂
 

We got the text message and check cashed today. They said the I-797 is in the mail. Our receipt begins with MSC so I guess we’re looking at a very long wait 😭

Just in case anyone out there is still waiting for NOA2, I guess not all hope is lost.  After 296 days of waiting, we got ours this morning. Thank God.
