NIV ap is normal with in hours or in few days it will change to ISSUED 
so stay faith ur visa coming soon best of luck 

Its a normal process every one go through AP after interview I had to wait more then 2 months my visa its issued only yestday !! Did co ask any documents to submit after interview did u get 221g slip ? Created date its once the embassy received ur file then they are update so ur last date update after ur interview 
AP will change to ready 
Then its change to nonimmigrant application received -,>AP> issued 
No worry pray n wait

Hello guys I'm 2018 January filler here
Noa1 8th of January
Noa2 31st of July 
Had a interview sri Lanka comobo embassy 11th of October 2018 interview went well co kept my passport as well he ask few questions he  say everything good then 
Co ask me to submit the police clearness certificate from south Africa ( cos i was work there 4years) as he's required I submit on 29th of November 2018 since that ceac.gov immigrant still AP  update 2times but nonimmigrant still say no status
I'm still waiting this all process like a years but still waiting for the visa 
Please need all prayers

Hope and pray waiting that's all can do every second s checking ceac.gov for updates but nothing really sucks I hope it will be soon finger cross n waiting 
After interview CO told me everything perfect they are kept my passport as well n say thank u so much 
So hope good news coming soon for u also

You have nothing to worry as each case is different from other. Faith in God (or who ever you believe) and think positive. All the best.

I know how much it is frustrated to wait. But this is common for all. He can call the embassy and ask or you can write inquiring whether they received it. Was it too long from "in transit" status to "ready" status?
In Asiri hospital, ask him to select Dr. Geetha, not Dr. Nimal. She is so quick and for Dr. Nimal I had to wait whole day at the hospital.
