Hmm USCIS says June 30 is date for inquiry on 129F, so I guess it is a bit longer than 9 days. Unfortunately getting any sort of answer out of USCIS seems to be worse than blood from stone.
Are NOA-2 to NVC to embassy around 4 -6 weeks or more, right now?

In 9 days they will be "out of regular processing" by USCIS standard and entitled to inquiry to that effect. Unfortunately what it means they will probably get "You case is being adjudicated, come back in 90 days" response 😕 Hopefully their lawyer knows actually worth their salt and knows some way to get real answers.
their case should be pretty straight forward is my thinking, except for the timing that USCIS takes. I did talk to the petitioner. No prior marriages or any misdemeanor or felonies and they are both retired (sorry just petitioner), as I understand it. No K-2 involved either. They have been in a LTR for years.

From what I saw most Ukraine petitions get approved rather quickly, even in case of RFE like @VikaShew2017approval was not far behind. I am sorry their case is stuck.
today is exactly 201 days for them, but the estimated time in VJ for processing is Aug 14, 2018. They are a little worried

@JMEngland is getting an RFE. @Olichkagot her NOA2 recently from end of August. @Gar & Ellawas I think most recent VJ Ukraine interview. What help does she need?
thanks, my wife has her friend waiting for her NOA-2 and was wondering about sending the out of processing time request already. they have a lawyer involved, but like anything USCIS, this is a mistery to them also
as far as i was told, she didnt get an RFE either. the questions is only how much longer could it take.

Also in at least some cases, you can get coverage retroactive to the date of the marriage (I know I can do this for my fiancé with my employer).
yes coverage is retroactive and back payments from the day you got married. i had to pay for this also

Hi:
I am asking this on behalf of a friend of my wife. Is there anyone doing K-1, specifically in Ukraine? Her PD is as stated in the title. Is anybody near that date that has not gotten their NOA-2 still? Or from August or June?
Thanks

It's the most recent on the site, from 11/21/2016 (how is that the most recent?!?!). I just sort of feel like this is a trick....
not all forms are updated every year. they update the form if and only when something needs to be adjusted, otherwise from my personal experience.....the forms stay like they are for years on end.

So, we're beginning the document gathering process ahead of filing for the BBG (Germans...) and the N-400. In the current instructions it says:
Am I reading it correctly that if we send IRS Tax Transcripts they do not actually want joint bank account info, etc, like we needed to send fo ROC?
Thanks!!!
if you post of the form is accurate....they only need "a" or "b" or "c"

I am new here. I appreciate anyone of you taking the time to give me some guidance. My fiance is in Armenia and an interview with embassy is all set. It's end of the January. I sent all the documents she needs to take with her on January 14, 19 using Priority Mail Express International. It shows that the package was departed Tbilisi, Georgia on January 22nd. I am hopeful she will get the documents Tuesday. In case she doesn't get it, I told her to just go to the interview. What should I do? There was original letters in the express mail that she needed to take with her to the embassy. I am freaking out! Thanks.
i had the same problem when my then fiance was getting her mail. It didn't make it there. If you still have digital copies of all your file, even the NOA-2, which you should, it's best to send her all by email and have her print them and put together.

We have checked and it keeps bringing up that it's not updated yet..
@John & Rose may be more informed on this. He is going through spousal visa now and had applied for k-1.

So how do I find out what happens to my 129F?
first to figure out is to go to the CEAC website and see what it says.....probably AP (administrative processing) or something to those ends. Worse case: Denied
-
it is common to get an approval, unless the evidence is little to none and/or not everything needed was provided. Good luck and congrats

Yes and that's a good advise because we have that at the back of our minds too.. But thanks a lot.. But do you think that after this second interview and actually calling my fiancee to actually confirm whatever is it that they are doing, that we might have a chance? Because they said to contact me again.. No final answer yet or asked to get more evidence or any documents after second interview..
IMO your I-129F is dead and will not go forward. Have the USC go and consult with a lawyer about how to overcome this. Your case is no longer a DYI even for a spousal visa. You have now a high bar to overcome and you don't want to waste more money on something that may or may not be easy to overcome. Definitely try to figure out what will happen to your I-129F before you start anything else.

OH yes I provided everything needed.. But there is one thing though.. The first US visa I applied for, I was wrongly advised to put that I was married even though I was not, I was advised that it shows that I have a strong tie at home and that? They have asked me about in both the interviews so far..and I was truthful in the both and apologised.. But the second interview was really thorough and my fiancee was called and was asked some questions too..
Well, this might be a problem, because you stated something false and know they may think this beneficiary is lying from there on. If you where put under AP and never come out of that loop, would be better to cancel the fiance process and get married and apply for spousal visa. Just my 2 cents.

We have know each other more than a year.. She is visited twice.. We have lots of pics and conversations to prove that..evidence of meeting family members is here.. And from the first interview to this second one, they have not asked for any prove yet..that I don't why.. And they did call my fiancee too..
we need more info to give you a more accurate idea of what they wanted. But as other have/will say: sounds like you didn't provide enough evidence. Did you provide all the necessary evidence at interview? did you frontload it? was all the financial in order? letter of intent to marry? was there some ring purchased? there is an overwhelming amount of evidence needed and that will make your K-1 approved.

I wish the system was a bit transparent. It’s just like a big black box .
unfortunately it is. When I adjusted from F4 it also said it was ready for a visa and they send the paperwork back to wait another month to get my visa processed. The USCIS website said it was ready and the lawyer confirmed that also.

Anyone here knows what month filers at the Atlanta field office are getting their interviews scheduled?
Every application has different timeline, even if you look it up at the USCIS website. There is no actual order to their madness.

On december 28 2018 if not mistaken....USCIS officially announced that most activities that have to do with immigration are not affected by the shutdown. Yesterday January 25 2019 the government has been opened again, at least for the next 3 weeks.
-
OP, I suggest to call twice a week. Once on Monday and once on Friday to not go crazy. Eventually you will get your Case#. Call in the afternoon after all the mail has been processed

Okay so I'm just adjusting my status at the moment and i'm confused. I'm including the EAD and travel authorisation into this and it seems as though visajourney guide only tell me the evidence to submit for the AOS rather than EAD and travel auth. Do i only submit two passport photo specifications or is it about 6 passport photo specifications for the other two forms? I'm confused Please help! thanks
each form is treated separately. So if each form requires 2 photos....then it is 6 for AOS, EAD and AP.

@Scottish Mernymph do not wait for social security 14 days after POE. you would have wasted 14 days for no reason. The manual verification can take few days and if you are lucky SS# can be issued as far as i know in 10 days the quickest or about latest 8 weeks. This is from VJ members. My wife had hers in 4 weeks.

Take copies only, except where asked for originals. Kiev also keeps all paperwork.
