If I am seeing those numbers same way as you are, it is a lot of denials; but it doesn't specify where these denials happened. I am going to make an assumption a lot of those denials came from 'high fraud' countries. Or perhaps things came up while in AP.  I wouldn't be stressing Trump being the issue with this. Other years may be fairly similar honestly in approval and denials.

Girl believe me it's hard when you can't even visit between the waiting periods. I haven't seen my love like in 181 days now. Believe me this is the hardest thing I ever done but for the sake of love you have to stay strong and be there for each other no matter how many miles keep you apart. Be strong. Soon girl very soon. I can't wait for that day to get my butt on that plane. I want to see my love's facey and hug him so tight.

An extreme hardship to qualify for a waiver is different than a expedite request. A hardship can include separation from children, mental issues requiring care, physical issues requiring assistance, etc. Specifics matter, and a well presented waiver goes a long way.

After a holiday weekend I hope USCIS employees returned full of energy and ready to start approving some December filers at least by the end of this week.
 

I feel your pain Jenny.
My fiance and I haven't seen each other in 178 days since end November 2017. The hardest part is not to be able to visit. We have to wait patiently for news from USCIS.
 
 

Haven't had the opportunity to see my babe in 8 months. I'm really missing him and hope this ends nicely very soon. Sigh

I'm excited to learn the answer. I will still follow.

I really really hope they don't do December like they are doing November!!!!! We are Dec 4th in the old 7th in the new.  I really feel for those mid November filers.  At least we are seeing more movement for the beginning of November

For a hypothetical, you got some specific concerns there.  Read the waiver instructions to see if your beneficiary may be eligible for the waiver.  It depends on what the beneficiary's hypothetical drug offenses are.
 
The USC has to prove an extreme hardship to him/her in order for the beneficiary to get the waiver.  It has to be more than merely missing the person.

Seeing all these approvals of November filers makes me so happy, so hang in there everyone! It's worth the wait 
Also, I've been obsessed with 13 reasons why season 2 (it's sooo good!!!) - I find myself really relaxed when I'm not thinking about this, it's obviously really hard but oh well.

Dec 1 filer here (NOA 1 Dec 6). Goodluck to all of us! I know the waiting game sucks big time but try to sit back, relax, keep the faith and have more patience. We’ve already waited more than 5 months hopefully we start to hear in couple of weeks (crossing fingers lol). We are all in this together. 

Not many changes last week. Only one approval but we already know that was an expedited case.

not sure how it happens. Wish I could of been one so I wouldn't still be sitting waiting for my NOA2. I'm a Nov 1st filer and my case has been skipped for two weeks now with cases all around my being approved  We hit day 201 today. So as I'm happy for my fellow Nov filers I'm also really sad and feel like the end isn't coming. I feel even worse for people in June-Sept. that are still waiting. One june filer finally received their approval today.

I printed out a couple of pages of WhatsApp chat log from each month since I filed. PayPal receipts from credit for his phone. I also have not seen my fiance since filing. We are planning a courthouse wedding nothing fancy so no receipts for that. I think what you have is sufficient 

I was married twice to undocumented Mexicans.  The first time was in 2001.  We married here in the US and there was a special amnesty which allowed him to remain in the US while I filed the I130 petition for a relative. It was approved and he received a work authorization before we divorced.  He never adjusted status and is still living and working illegally in the US. That amnesty no longer exists.  The second marriage was also in the US.  I filed the petition for alien relative and it was approved.  His only option at that point was to return to Mexico and wait out a 10 year ban for entering illegally.  He chose to remain here.  This was in 2003 and he is still here illegally.  Side note, we are no longer together and getting child support from him is a because he works illegally off the books.  We have been to family court many times and he has not faced deportation as of yet.  He is an alcoholic that has had several vehicle accidents and been arrested and jailed and he is STILL here and working.  We are in New York if that matters to you.
