Hey Dear April Filers,
i`ve been a silent reader as well but seeing all your postes about getting closer to NOA2 makes me quiet excited. I hope we will all have approvals right away

I just checked my NOA2 estimate and mine is now at Oct 24-28! It used to be Oct 26-30! I know it's not much and it's not entirely reliable, but stil!! Whoopee!

The closer we get more anxious I get. I really hope April's Approvals come in storming VisaJourney so we can focus on the next process. I will be the happiest girl in the world if I have my fiancé here for the holidays. 😍

It's (hit) or miss with the G-1145. After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:
Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov
Subject: Your receipt #
Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday
Or use the online form

dwilder reacted to Collin & Kaue in Avoiding an RFE
Hey anyone who has seen this post, Just spoke with the USCIS and they had told me you CAN send documents to add to your file before it is reviewed if you would like to try to avoid a RFE.
so getting some additional documents I know they might ask for and sending it to them!
Good luck everyone else!

Yeah, the immigration policies, or at least the spotlight they're getting, probably have a lot to do with it too. And same here on wedding timing. We're just doing courthouse. Hopefully we can throw some kind of reception in like 2020 after we recover from going broke on this whole process!! 😁

Are you sure you aren't listening to my call to my fiancé? I just said to him the number of people filing seems to have been dropping over the last 6 months .with march and especially April dropping right down on visa applications. Our total applications on here is lower than some still left unapproved from previous months
Here is to hoping indeed!!

Canada is pretty backed up too.... some good news might be, I know I've read some of the pros on here say that March/April are slower months for petitions so maybe by our time, interview dates won't be quite as far out. Here's to hoping!!!

Since we are on the topic here is a really comprehensive list straight from the CDC site with lots of details on each vaccine, including "special populations" so you can check if there is anything unique to your situation. It's not specifically spelled out for immigration but I assume it all overlaps in the eyes of the U.S. Gov

@MeghanK was right and verified on the UK/US embassy site, for age group (19-49) MMR, Tdap, Chicken pox and Flu (if in flu season).

Sent the list of vaccines to my fiance last night, haha she was not happy! Looks like she can't find any of her records. Thinking it may be best for us to call/get an appt for her with one of the approved Drs to see what she may actually need? Think that's the best approach?

Those late March approvals have me freaking out with excitement and anxiety about how close we are!! The day dreaming of whether we will be early, on-time, or delayed has fully taken over.
So excited that some of us may be seeing approvals so soon!
