CaseyCobos reacted to TNJ17 in K-1/K-2 Passport Question
EVERYONE needs a passport to travel internationally. You need to send a copy of the passport of the beneficiary and the dependents going with them along with the 129f packet. I don’t know where people get this idea that kids don’t need passport. They’re people and they’re traveling internationally. They need a passport. It doesn’t matter how old you are.

Well on the bright side, this process (and Beyoncé tickets on sale) has me looking forward to Monday at least!

Amount of documents we have to prepare is just insane! And you know what, I was just wondering why in the XXI century America the great still wants the paperwork to be sent by mail. It would have been so much faster and easier to do it online.
But let`s hang in there...few months and we will be done with this part ...well, hopefully few months!

Just keep in mind folks, October has a very large number of filers. So it won't go as quickly as September is going.

CaseyCobos reacted to KULtoATL in How quickly did you marry?
We went the easy way. Got married at the local court 1.5 months upon my entry to avoid any kind of wedding planning headache because none of us would know when our visa would be approved etc. I've lived with him since the day I entered the US on a K-1 seeing how I don't have family and friends here and I'm not in the position to lease my own property. Personally, we wouldn't have done it any other way and now we are just going about our lives as normal as possible.
If you want a proper wedding, you can always get married at the court first to fulfill the getting married within 90 days criteria and file for AOS a.s.a.p and then plan a reception for a latter date. Less stressful and you can enjoy it more.

Oh really ? Will it have nice pink flowers falling down and a beautiful waterfall on the side? USCIS SPEND THAT TIME APPROVING K-1s!

Good Morning Guys and Gals ...Today's Number of the day is 59293
Lets do some math shall we :
The 129F Form is 13 pages long (not including attachments, etc.)
There is 4561 129Fs received for Sept at USCIS (Calculated based on Naes graphs)
13 x 4561 = 59293 pages of paper
The USCIS is definitely environmentally friendly. All those poor trees Tree Lives Matter Too!!

I have to admit, I looked at this picture 3 times over the course of the day before I saw the kitty. This is the first thing my cat did when I moved into my current apt. It's his favorite spot
