Welp, we’re closing in on 60 days post-interview & recommendation for approval, and still no sign of the oath ceremony notice. Mailed a letter to our senator yesterday requesting assistance.

So, the I-751 was not adjudicated, correct? Only the N-400, correct?
Correct. Although case tracker doesn’t show any sign of adjudication for the N-400… status is still “interview scheduled”.
We spoke to a USCIS phone agent about two weeks ago and she said that she could see the interview was completed and there were no flags, holds, or additional information requests attached to the case.
As far as I can tell there is just a button somewhere that someone hasn’t yet gotten around to pushing.

Hubby had N400 interview over five weeks ago, and received recommendation for approval. Not a peep from USCIS since, however, other than the I751 case transfer notice 35 days ago. Sigh. International travel plans are on hold and this waiting is the worst!
Any ideas on getting this unstuck? Anyone else have to wait this long after their successful interview?

Interview set -- March 10 at 7:40am 😮
Congrats! Ours is March 12th, so we’re right behind ya

Just wondering if you guys got the interview date yet? Nothing here -- says it was mailed 2/4
Nope... still waiting. I might call midweek if we still don’t have it as we recently moved and I had already filed a change of address form with USCIS but who knows what the lag time on them actually updating the info might be.

Hey all! So we filed March 2019 and JUST got the notice that on 2/4/20 we were scheduled for an interview and to await the date in the mail. We're in Washington DC for those of you waiting. About a year wait here.
Yay! We’re also in the DC office and got an email this morning notifying us that our interview was scheduled. Can’t wait to get the date in the mail!!

Good day on the immigration front! My hubby’s approval notices for EAD and AP arrived in the mail earlier. Then, just now, we got an email from USCIS — the combo card has been picked up and is scheduled for delivery on Thursday!

Day 200 since our last update. Still no EAD or AP. Two case inquiries filed -- one this week and one about a month ago... neither of which have been responded to. Sigh.
Remember when USCIS got rid of the legal requirement to adjudicate EAD cases in under 90 days but promised it would still do so in the large majority of cases? About that...

Filled a second inquiry today for EAD. Fingers crossed!

It’s been 222 days since my husband and I are filed and 190 days ago we’ve got the “Ready to be scheduled for an interview “ update. How many of us are still waiting for the interview?
Us too 😕 Still waiting on EAD and AP too. Sigh.

We’ve had no issues with completing the K1 processing and beginning AOS, apart from the very slow processing times that are currently being faced by all couples.

Couldn't agree more. I went down the K1 route and it was the worst decision I could have made, I am still struggling to get my career back on track after almost one year of Visa shananigans - and that's because I got my GC relatively fast, in less than 4 months.
OP, it looks like you do have a thriving career but please be aware that when you enter the US on your K1, work can only continue after you get your EAD and that might easily take 3 months or more. That's why a spousal Visa is a better option sometimes.
Very easily. My hubby has been waiting six months and counting without so much as a peep from USCIS. It's pretty damn demoralizing.

Yeah, same here. Been stuck on the same case status.
Hopefully we'll hear something back soon.
Are you in NoVa?
Good luck to you!
We’re in the Charlottesville area.

Ours has no movement since we did our biometrics in May.
Anyone from the DC field office got theirs?
We're in the same boat, other than a 'case ready to be scheduled for interview' status change for the I485 back in mid August. Still no interview date or EAD/AP approval.

Day 176... will this be the week for EAD?
My husband has a pending job offer... do you guys think it would be a good idea to request an expedited approval based on this, or would it be more likely to mess something up/set us back at this stage?

Quick question regarding the driver's license.
I got my license with my EAD. The license is obviously only valid for 1 year. Can I go back to the DMV once I get my GC and extend the expiration date of my license?
Yes

Ours switched to ready to interview around the same time, on August 21. Looking at the AOS stats here in Visajourney for the DC office, I’m thinking we’ll have the interview around January.
-
Hubby submitted a case inquiry for his EAD today over the phone. He’s so ready to have a job! We’re both going a little stir crazy.
-
Damn. Hubby and I were really hoping this would be the week for EAD. Even tho I believe we’re out of normal processing times (“case received” 4/1), he called yesterday and the rep didn’t even mention the option of making an inquiry. They just said it will probably be approved by the end of the month.

Woke up to an email about a case status update... our AOS petition is ready for interview!! Finally some light at the end of a long tunnel! No update on EAD or AP, so this is a total surprise.

N-400 December 2022 Filers
in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports

We’re at the DC/Fairfax field office… I’ve seen several folks get the oath ceremony scheduled within ~3 weeks of the interview, so it doesn’t seem like scheduling is the bottleneck. We filed the N400 electronically.
Online status still says interview was scheduled. Last updated 101 days ago. 😕 Phone agent said that she could see in her system that the interview had been marked as completed.
Hubby got a call from our senator’s office earlier this week and they said they received his request and would begin working on it. Fingers crossed that gets things unstuck!
