All three are now issued!!!!

It is 4:00 am in Manila. We all tried to go to bed early but I think we were all awake most of the night. Rose is in the shower. The appointment is for 7:45. We are leaving at 5:15 just to make sure we get there on time. The Embassy is only 10 miles from us but this is Manila. 
 
I want to thank all all of you for the support. It really helped when things looked bleak. 
 
We are going to give the Filipino pre processing guy all of my arrest records that I have. They will see it in AP anyway. I figure that may speed things a little and I would feel better by doing that too. 
 
I will I’ll check back on a few hours to let everyone know how it went.

Hi all, I got the notification on the app yesterday that my EAD card is being produced. NOT expedite. Old website updated status, new website didnt.
I was pleasantly surprised... Now I hope the card gets mailed soon and makes its way home to me 😍
Not sure how long that can take.

got my card in the mail today and the official approval notice for the EAD and AP on Monday (the 25th)! Card came as priority mail

I got my EADs in the mail today 😁 now im just waiting for my Aos to update i hope is soon 🙌🏻🙏🏻

PD is October 26. Status online just changed today. 😊

Me! Noa 1 on oct 11 and got email that EA card is in production today. 

Got another app update today. My husbands new card is being produced.

Hear yee Hear yee, I have just come back from the land of Sept 2018 filers and am happy to announce that a Sept 25 NOA1 was approved for their EAD/AP. Our time is coming soon!!

At least now I can stop driving with an expired dl and stop worrying about any traffic cop i see.

I have used Credit Karma Tax the past 2 years. It is by far the easiest and cheapest(free) that I have seen if you do not have a complicated return.

I did a lot of looking around and came down to this. As long as you are married as on December 31st they do not even have to be in the US. It also says right at the beginning that it covers situations in which they were a non resident part of the year and a resident the other part. It doesn't directly apply to the K-1 situation but it made it pretty clear I wasn't doing it wrong by claiming the exemption for her. Filing status is always about your situation on December 31st is my understanding. I am not an accountant.(I feel I should mention that)

I don't know how important this is to anyone, but since we have been talking a lot about taxes I'll post it. My wife got her SSN last week and I tried to file married filing joint on Monday but it was declined because my spouses info did not match the e-file database. After some research I realized I had to wait a while. Re-filed today and it was accepted. My understanding is as long as you were married by December 31st you are eligible to file married filing joint just as a regular citizen would and it was extremely advantageous to me as she had 0 income. Hope this helps someone.

yup. That is so you can come back here in case you wanna go home for a vacation for a few months

So my husband and I called the USCIS  to check our case plus ask how much longer. We are at the 100 day mark just to see what they would say lol, 4 -6months . We are expecting our first baby in June. I really hope they move that work permit along faster for him. He wants to work so bad to provide for our growing family. So fingers crossed!
