Mine took 13 days to get the text notification from the date that UPS delivered it so I think they're just slow at the moment processing them. You should get it soon but I don't think you need to worry yet. I got the letter in the mail 2 working days after the text notification.

Looks like you're not the only one, so I think the USCIS is just a little slow right now. 10 days without text notice is a little unusual but I'm pretty confident it's gonna move on soon.

My NVC status changed to READY from in Transit  on Oct 4th and since then it's been changed again and today I checked again and it says Oct 10th.
What does this mean?

Thank you so much! It’s just so hard!!! I know I have to be patient but seeing all the March and end of Feb filers getting approved makes me cry....

Still nothing... 200days... 
I am so tired of waiting and crying...
i asked my fiancé to call USCIS ( we called them last week and and we were told to wait until Sep 15th!! Ugh... And if still nothing after 15th, call them again...) again but he said we should wait for another 10 more days. I can’t wait anymore... 
any advise? 

To be honest, no one knows. And even if someone here says they know, they’re just guessing. There are bad employees everywhere. Who knows why they say one thing and another happens. Unfortunately there is really nothing more you can do but just wait. Of course I say that as someone who has not done that well (NOA1 Feb 16th new site) but it is what it is. So sorry. It absolutely sucks. We can all agree on that and that we know FOR SURE. I hate every single minute of this.

Ur within normal processing time. No one can do anything as this time for u. Must wait till day 210 before u can call and get assistance. 
This is normal for them to start the next month before previous month and months are finished.  As uscis workers work at differant speeds and or case loads are different.

You're not alone. I'm so tired of being strong.. I'm tired of living life on hold. I'm tired of not being able to make any permanent decisions right now because life is on hold. I am so tired, I've tried so hard to not be miserable about the process.. but it's just weighing so heavily on my shoulders. This is the most painful thing I've ever been through and I'm trying so hard to not fall apart. 

I don't see it taking longer. If anything it is a help to them because it gives an additional reference when it comes to identifying you.

No, you should have a problem with it at all but don't be surprised if they ask about it during the interview.

I was on a J1 visa 20 years before I applied for K1. I knew I had a SSN but couldn't find it so left it off the form. Worried about it a little.
 
Later I found an old W2 with it on, so was able to use it for my marriage license etc. It didn't cause any problems that I'd left it off K1 so I can't see that putting it on would have caused more issues.
 
Once I'd entered on K1 I went to social security office with my number and passport and they were able to look me up, issue new card, change my details etc.
