Ros&Ricky got a reaction from FD21 in NVC Rejected 1 Document
We had to resubmit documents a few times too. It's super frustrating! I would always upload the correct document the same day but still have to wait 2-3 weeks to get a response. In all, it cost us about 2 extra months of waiting!

Ros&Ricky got a reaction from Crazy Cat in translations for birth certificates
My wife translated all of our documents. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She just attached a sheet similar to this one and it worked no problem.

Ros&Ricky got a reaction from Love To Teach in Waiting for NOA2/Nebraska/I-130
It took us a little over 8 months. We filed in Feb. 2018. And just had the interview on April 10th, 2019. It's a long process with a lot of waiting but it all works out in the end!

Ros&Ricky reacted to CJlove in Visa Spouse
I got married to my hubby (Chileno) in September 2017. Immediately after applied for i130. My hubby has his interview last week, exactly 14 months after applying for i130. Most likely, the baby will be born in Chile. It will be a long journey. Hang tight! Good luck!

Ros&Ricky reacted to geowrian in Affidavit Support
If his assets are sufficient (at least 3x the minimum income level), then he can submit an I-864 using assets alone.
A job contract is not current income.
If his assets are not sufficient, he can either get a joint sponsor or he can return to the US first to actually start earning income and then use that.

Ros&Ricky reacted to Nitas_man in Affidavit Support
Previous post was correct. There is a section on the affidavit of support to declare assets and if they exceed 3x the income requirement they will suffice without a co-sponsor.
No credit for a contract unfortunately.
As stated, if he returns and starts working before the interview he can add that income to his assets. Good luck!
