We started the process (CR1) in early February 2017, which means we've been waiting for a year and 5 months so far, with a month and a half to go before the interview, and we've been a total of two years long distance so far. I had to see how other people made it in half the time, how most just adjust status together. *Sarcastic yay*
Of course this process drives you crazy! there's nothing cool about having to wait this long away from your loved ones it sounds like the ''worst'' part (long distance wise, I mean) is almost over, and although getting married and starting a life together will have its own challenges, at least you'll be able to work it together like you said, which it's what we're looking forward to. The good news is, all of these has prepared you both, made you stronger to be able to withstand whatever comes your way. In any moment of doubt or struggle, just remember how hard you fought to be together and how crazy you felt. <3 And you're literally at the end of it!
I'm sending you a big hug and wishing you both the best

I thought I’d check one last time and it has been changed to non immigrant! Finally a change! But I’ll do what you’ve said. It’s hard because my dog is already over there despite all the “don’t book anything etc etc” so I not only miss my fiancée but my god do I miss my dog lol

Exactly! The wait for the AOS is much more insane compared to the wait for visa. Ive been waiting for EAD and AP for 4 months and i have been desperate and now in the 5th month that i have been caring less and getting use to life i just saw that my case is ready for the interview! Some Things really come up in the most unexpected time!

I know the waiting is crazy but find something to do. I used to play online games with my spouse to pass time

Keep in mind there was a US holiday last week also (4th of July), which sounds as though happened to be the day after your medical results arrived. 4th of July week is a high vacation week in the US, so that tends to slow things down in most offices.
My husband's medical was on Feb 22 (a Thursday), medical papers arrived the following Tuesday, and he got his visa on March 5th (the next Monday). It can take a solid week, give or take, for it to update. And as others said - the "Ready" status does not mean much. I think my husband's changed to "issued" the day before he got the visa in the mail, but I can't remember.

The online status can cause serious anxiety if you pay TOO much attention to it. At this point, it is the waiting game, unfortunately. Don't let it get to you and drive you crazy....patience is key!
Good luck to you and yours.

That's the clue it is ready to print. Then comes Issued. Then maybe 2 days before courier gets it and does the packaging and addressing for delivery and emails you. It is the courier who generates the email and delivery is typically the day after the email. This is all London timeline.

Hi there - we are in AP processing too. And I feel like I am totally going insane - its so hard after waiting so long. OThey are verifying our marriage certificate because we were married in the Seychelles which is a random place, our interview was on the 29th. I agree it does feel like everything is taking longer lately and I do think with all the immigration hysteria, I could assume they are vetting people more or taking longer with each step of the process. Our interview date was almost exactly a year after submitting our first documents, so 11months is on track. Anyways - wish I could provide any answers or advice but just wanted to write in solidarity. Stay strong and positive!!

No. Everything is fine. Those status things don't mean a lot. "Ready" is generic for "we are out of stock phrases". It will change to non-Immigrant at some point then issued.

Hi you!
I had such an issue with my medical. I was approved at the interview though. It was stuck on AP for ages but changed to ready today on the CEAC page. Is this a good sign?

Yes, I was asked to get more information from my doctor regarding an ongoing eating disorder, experience of self-harm, depression and a suicide attempt. The doctor provided a matter of fact letter outlining what was discussed at each appointment, what treatment was offered, information regarding specialist services, and an honest prognosis of my current mental state. I am still suffering from depression and anxiety, and I am still recovering from my eating disorder. She was very honest and upfront but reassured them that I was no longer a threat to myself or anybody else. Once the medical centre received this, I was signed off. No issues.

Just wanted to offer my experience. I requested a letter from my GP prior to my medical but unfortunately it was not detailed enough. You need more than “so and so is not a harm to themselves or others”. They want details - history, diagnosis, what treatment was given, information about specialist services provided, etc etc. My mental history was quite extensive but I managed to get another letter from my GP (four pages of notes!) within a week for £30. I was approved at the medical centre a couple of days later.

We had an email from them saying that our case was in transit, and when I checked the following day our status said ready. As soon as that status changed, I completed my DS160, and booked my medical and interview. I didn’t wait.

They sent ours as soon as they issued a case number, so I think was unusually quick.
Uhhh... my medical was ok. I was in and out pretty quickly. I thought that I’d provided sufficient evidence from my GP regarding my mental health but apparently not so that has been delayed. I sent an email 3 days ago and foolish me didn’t check to confirm that they’d received it. Called them today and they hadn’t, so I’ve had to send it again and now the process is delayed even further.
Interview was a breeze. I was asked two questions “how did you meet?” and “where will you be living?”, answered this and she said that I’ve been approved.
