I had my green card interview yesterday. Approved on the spot.
 
Here is my timeline:

My cousin is february filer and did biometric on march 19, and on may 11 he got letter for interview today june 6.
He was approved at Tampa today.

I applied for multiple jobs I knew I was qualified for. It was during the interview process that I tell them about my status. One employer told me to come back when I get the EAD and another said they had no issues with waiting. They wrote me an offer letter and said i could start whenever my EAD comes.  
 
Just be honest and confident in yourself. Know what you bring to the employer's company.

Just finished with my aos interview this morning. The IO was really nice, he don’t ask any evidences from us. But we gave my husband’s recent w2 and our health insurance even though he doesn’t ask for it. After the yes or no questions from I-485, He just ask us to tell him our love story. The interview was fast and easy, it took only 10mins. But we hope there’s no problem coz he doesn’t say if we were approved on the spot. Only said he doesn’t see anything wrong from our application and we will be sending approval mail soon and no timeline for it. When we arrived home i checked my status online my aos still on validation error (though it’s been more than 2mos now) , my ap still on received and my ead was on new card was being produced. I’m confused. What does it mean? Will i be receiving an ead soon right after my aos interview? Anyone same situation?

Received a case status update last night..."Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview" !!! Biometrics appt was last week on May 22nd. Now we begin the game of waiting for the appointment letter. 

Mount Laurel, NJ. Fingers crossed it will be quick and painless. Praying for the same situation as our I-129F. I have no idea why or how but we got out NOA2 13 days after NOA1 lol

Received/Texts sent: 4/24
NOA1: 4/30
Biometrics Appt: 5/17
Ready to be scheduled for an interview: 5/21
 
And now we wait.....

I had my biometrics done today in a small town of York, PA. A bit of a bummer that it was set up for 8 am, meaning waking up after 4 am to leave at 5.30 as it 2-2,5 hour drive one way.

The office opens at 8 am and they don't let you go inside earlier. We were waiting in the car and somehow a few people managed to get in front of us but it turned there were only 2 people but one person came with a husband and a child, another with somebody else.

They give you a form to fill in and I was puzzled that apart from a few very simple questions they ask for weight and hight which you can say in kilograms and centimeters if you want.

The stuff was friendly, everybody was given an evaluation form at the end so I guess they want to be evaluated well! But one think that I did not like, they take just one picture and the person doing them could be more helpful. Later you can see the picture on the screen and I am sorry to say I looked like a fugitive from the prison next door with the hair sticking out! Not the impression I wanted!

But overall very easy and fast. There was not even a metal detector gate to go through.

ISSUED!!!!!!!  GOD IS SO GOOD!!

We are married ! In Gwinnett courthouse we were three couples and guests at 2:00 pm time...we were second...my honey got touched and cried when judge declared us husband and wife...and people clapped us....! We are happy ! ...solemn ceremony in church and honeymoon trip will have in March.  Happinnes to all of you, guys!!!

and I have my visas already issued and sent. Tomorrow I will get them
 
I have a question, why we have to apply for SSN before marriage? I know it was discussed but I can't remember

FINALLY...  NOA2!!!!!!
 
I contacted the Ombudsman and the next week it was approved!!  
 
God is so gracious in carrying us through!

I still don't have NOA2... Trust me, I understand your frustrations!

Hi April filers! I'm a June filers and have a question and just want your perspectives. My fiancée has her interview scheduled early February, and after the initial excitement (we somehow jumped a few hoops) we both are starting to worry we won't get accepted. We don't have a real concrete reason for the anxiety considering our circumstances (similar ages, lots of time in person, shared languages etc) but I guess it's just simple anxiety. So my question to you is is this a normal feeling, an initial excitement later replaced with worry and fear? I hope so because I don't like this feeling. I would appreciate your inputs!!

So, just want to give an update.  My love Monica arrived in Seattle on Friday December 15th.

Well newest wrinkle. We went to do the name change on her existing SSN and of course they said 4-5 weeks to process with Homeland Security since of course she doesn't have her name in the system that way. Hopefully that goes smoothly. Will talk with the lawyer about order of operations now for the AOS and other paperwork. Wedding was on the 8th and we got back from the mini-honeymoon yesterday. Hopefully everything is going smoothly for everyone else.

its been long aprilites lols... congratulations to all who already with their love ones!! i got delayed for almost 10 wks gone through sputom exam during my medical exam, i had a cough at that time and i never thought i have history with pneumonia given prescription antibiotic 2x per day for 7 days after long waiting re xray , improvement seen and pass. visa status : application received.

Sorry everyone for being away so long. It's been a crazy couple of weeks!   We'll, we finally crossed that finish line!  Now on to AOS! 

Hello to everyone , guys ! Congrats to all of you, even who are waiting for their gold ticket NOA2! Your day soon ! ..we are just fine, enjoy of every day, we are soooo happy...our wedding soon...and our fireplace will be recovered on  coming days))) we've had three trips ...
