So we just got the "Card is being produced" notification for our EAD/AP.
 
59 days after expediting (denied)
171 days after NOA1
 
Things did not really move at all until we got in contact with our congresswoman last week. Now we wait for the card to arrive.

Good news for my wife AP only has been approved today recieved an email this morning showing action has been taken on her case .No work on work permit hope everyone is having a good day

                 I don't know how accurate the site is but there is processing times based on the users from the site if you click on ap or ead it shows you what date is being worked on AP's being processed rite now are January 12th and EAD January 5th kind of to give you and idea. I'm still waiting as well day 134 for ap and 97 days for EAD my EAD is behind since I signed an outdated form sucks but yea reset my clock.

We sent in my wife's AOS packet Jan 19, 2018 and had our interview yesterday, 06/06/18, and it was approved!!  We just have to wait for it to come in the mail but we're ecstatic. We didn't even get her AP/EAD yet and the current processing times are for end of June/early July. How often does this happen that a GC is received before the EAD/AP? We feel extremely blessed right now. Since she got approved, does this mean she won't get an EAD/AP card since she'll have her GC already or will she have it come in the mail in (maybe) about a month? It's my understanding that once she gets her GC she can work right away. Is this correct or do we still have to wait for the EAD card to come in?

Approval: May 22nd
Card in Mail: May 31st
 
It took a long time but at least I got it. For anyone wondering, I did get updates on the USCIS website and on my phone. 
 
GC status:
 
NOA1: January 11th
After that no changes except on the USCIS website. My case says it was reviewed on March 20th but I havent gotten any updates since then.

Update from December:

After 137 days my Combocard is approved!

Received: December 18th
Approved: April 24th

2 days less than my entire K1 took from NOA1 to Interview, lol.

Interesting question. And I will give my honest opinion here and I apologies for offending anyone in advance.
 
I have never had the dream to move to the States and I am not moving to America for the American Dream. I'm moving there to be with my love.
If life worked like a fairy tale and we could wave a magic wand a go *poof* he'd be moving to the Netherlands, cause in my honest opinion our social system works better. But reality is different. He is a single father to four, their mother deceased. He is all they have. Moving to the Netherlands would mean leaving behind his 19 and 23 year old and uprooting his 17 and 15 year old. There's no way I could do that to them.
 
The American Dream to me is a historical one. Back when Europe was in such a bad shape, ripped apart by war and famine and America was an up and coming nation with great opportunities. A time where an impoverished Irishman could get on a boat and become rich by nothing more than hard work and determination. I don't see that any more. I see a lot of hardworking and determined people struggle to pay rent. Often working two jobs to keep food on the table.
Perhaps the dream is still alive for countries less fortunate than western European ones, but I can only speak from my point of view.
 
That being said, I have come to love the country and the people. Yes I still see it's flaws, but I also see the wonderful things. Things you do better than us Dutch or Europeans. I love how open and friendly every one is. How sociable. Its amazing to see how the way your communities work together. How when someone falls ill the whole community chips in to help them back on their feet. I love your customer service and overall friendliness. I love how neighbors still know each others names and help out when the dog needs walked or a tree needs cut down. I love the landscape and the wildlife. I love the fact that there's still so much uncultivated and even unchartered land. I love how most people still know that milk comes from cows and you need chickens to get fresh eggs. People are more self reliant. More resilient.
And again I only speak of my own experiences based on a few small Midwestern towns in rural Indiana.
 
All in all I cant tell you, I have traveled all across Europe. I've been to Belgium, Germany, Check Republic, England, France, Luxembourg and probably some other countries I forgot. But I have never felt the way I felt when I came to America. It felt like coming home.

Hi everyone,
I have been in Bangkok since January 12th visiting my fiancee.  She had her interview on the 10th and was granted the Visa.  We received the Visa and accompanying sealed huge yellow envelope on the 17th.  After much emailing, discussions, vacation-time extending, etc., I will be returning to the US on January 31st together with her!   PoE:  Boston  1/31/2018
Beyond too happy!!!! 
We wish everyone here the experience of this happiness as soon as possible.

EVERYONE!!!!! Just now at 11:20PM, I received a text saying they've received our application and will be sending an I-797!!!!!!! ONE STEP CLOSER!!!! 

Guys, we got married today!!!!
so very happy and can't believe that after struggling so much with the whole process, it finally happened! Never quit believing, it's a long journey but totally worth it!

POE at LAX was swift and easy. The only question he was asked was if we had set a date yet! Took all of 30 minutes!

Good news everyone!  Our approval came in the mail today without being updated on the website, apps, email or text.  It says we were approved on November 6th, but didn't arrive until today (10th).
 
We were a May 15th NOA1, so hopefully a lot of others are in the same boat as us of just not being updated yet but it's in the mail.

My visa was approved on Wednesday at the embassy of Paris  and I wanted to share something with you guys. I know you’ve heard but I feel like it’s necessary to repeat this. 
I am a May 3rd filer and received my NOA2 October 6th (and I know people from May 3rd are still waiting...). This process takes forever. I was losing my mind, couldn’t sleep, wouldn’t eat. I was so sad and desperate but please don’t lose hope. It can go really fast after receiving your NOA2. In only one month I had my interview. Really focus on preparing what you will need during the interview as you wait for NOA2. That saved me a ton of time. Good luck with everything to everyone who is still in the race. Stay as positive as you can. 

@Murph4865 What I did was
- Fll out DS-160, print out confirmation. Then send DS-160 confirmation + 2 passport photos + passport copies to the embassy
- Create UStraveldocs accounts, and submit it (it requires Ds-160 confirmation #, Passport #, MNL #) , print out the confirmation page then pay the visa fee at the post office or wherever instructed in the Philippines. It unlocks your appointment schedule the next day, please make sure keep the receipt for visa fee.
