Even though I'm not the one who moved, I feel like I've been doing the same. I've always lived alone, so it was an adjustment to have someone moving in with me and sharing space. I got used to having the closet to myself lol
I can relate to this. George has been here 10 weeks and I've only managed to clear ONE drawer for him. He made some closet space for himself though!

22 days and still no receipt..... I guess I have to wait the full 30 days.
I hope its not the case that it is just sitting on top of someone's desk while they are on vacation.
Anyone has been waiting long on their receipt?
Our packet was delivered on 23 May and they just ran my credit card today. So hopefully we'll have a NOA 1 soon.

Did anyone pay by credit card with the G-1450? Wondering if there are horror stories...

The fiance POE'd yesterday...customs in Boston went amazingly well. None of it feels real yet. I still lurk on here and am saying prayers for everyone still waiting. There is light at the end of this tunnel. Or my favorite Katy Perry lyric "After a hurricane comes a rainbow." See yall in the AOS chatrooms!

Almost 8 months from the day I printed the 129f application at the local library (because who owns a printer anymore) and mailed it off, we have been approved for the ever elusive K-1 visa!! Hoping the fiance's close out with work goes smoothly so we can finally get a POE. Wishing everyone the best, especially @BVGApeach

Just a question, when the NVC emails with a case number or the embassy has the petition who does the email go to will it be the petitioner or the beneficiary
We both received an email when our case got to the embassy We didn't receive any emails from NVC until then. I think some other people did though.

The embassy received our case today! We need to wait to receive the packet 3 in the mail before he can schedule his medical though. Make progess, wait, make progress, wait...can't wait for this rollercoaster to end!!

@Peem Jov Did you add yourself to the NVC tracker? Get the link from @Naes‘s signature block. That gives you a good idea on waiting times for the next step.

I'm a July filer too. USCIS receipt date 6/30, NOA1 7/5. There's far more activity and info here than in our thread so I hang out here often.
Lol me too!!

Tried a couple of times, today and previous. A lot just points you at their FAQs and average processing times page.
It's such a joke. I think someone needs to check a box to earn a promotion...but it's clear they're not trying to help people through Twitter.

Did anyone participate in the #AskUSCIS Twitter event today?
It looks like they didn't answer too many questions. https://twitter.com/hashtag/AskUSCIS?src=hash

Just returned from spending two weeks with the fiance in Romania It was nice not to be (too) stressed out about the visa timeline...but now back to reality.
I may be biased, but if anyone is looking for a European vacation, Romania is pretty awesome. The NY Times recently called it "the T.J. Maxx of Europe" haha. I like to shop so I think that's pretty funny.
Anyways, a NOA2 is still at the top of my Christmas list. Best of luck to all of us!

Speaking of timelines, ours got pushed back ANOTHER week. Now it's saying December 5th-10th? Originally we were like mid-November.

I am just so ready to start my married life and this is really disappointing!
Yeah we are still in Nov, but def got pushed back a few days :-(
This process sucks!

Happy Sept! Excited to start a new month of...waiting haha.
Question: When you call USCIS, do they tell you they are currently processing February cases? But if you look on Visa Journey, there are March and even April filers who are receiving their RFEs and NOA2s. I think this is good.

Are people receiving RFEs before biometrics? I do not understand this process!
