Our RFE was resolved within two weeks. Taxes as well. A month later we have our interview. No issues. It’ll be okay. March 30 filerfilet

We finally got approved for our EAD this past Thursday! Received an email from the uscis dhs account..it did NOT update on the app nor did it update on the case status uscis website. So freaking useless, all these months checking that stuff and it doesnt even update!  
 
Hope to get the EAD in the mail this week, how long did it take you guys once the status changed to approved?

Sometimes an RFE resets the clock, sometimes it doesn't. It honestly varies. We got an RFIE as well but it didn't reset our clock. We received our EAD within 5 months of filing and 2 months after the RFIE.

I've seen various posts on this in the thread below, but am not sure what the gist of the messages were anymore. Either search there, or just post your question there and I'm sure someone will know the answer

We have the medical tomorrow. Kind of surreal but also just want to kill the time between now and our interview. I feel bad saying this here because we are ahead of most junies but it's still been 9 months since I've seen her and she can't visit me here until she gets her visa. We didn't expect this long of a wait!

I am catching up on reading here (all of a sudden didn't get notifications on the June thread anymore and was wondering if there was an exodus of Junies all of a sudden, but no, a third thread, and 22 pages of it already!), I just want throw in a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the new approved people, finally this is moving!!!! Sad to see lots of people are still waiting, but I am sure you are very close, it's a matter of days now, hopefully!

Hi guys! Great update here from a Dutchie. We called and were told that our case has been forwarded to the US embassy in Amsterdam today! Woohoo. That is 6 weeks after receiving NOA 2.

Hi all! Dutch filer here. We got approved NOA 2 on Dec 1st and are currently entering the 6th week of waiting to hear anything of NVC. We called them last week and they had not received our case yet. They mentioned to at least wait 6 weeks before calling them to see if they received it. How long does it usually take for them to receive it? and Once they receive it, how long until I'll receive my package over here?   Thanking you in advance.

My fiancee just called me, we are approved. I can't believe it, this is finally happening. Thank you for everyone who kept me sane and helped me smile through rough days. I'm praying for all of you.
