Folks, this legal-immigration process is dysfunctional at best and broken at worst.  Please remain unfailingly supportive of each other.  Remember that if you hold one pencil and snap it, it will break; conversely, if you hold a handful of pencils and try to snap them, they'll remain undamaged.

NOA2 - March 16th

Once I saw the scans that @Naesposted yesterday had reached my NOA1 date, I checked the app. I know many people have had no updates on the app, but for us the case was updated on the app. We live overseas though so the hardcopy might take up to two weeks to reach us. 

Hope the rest of you guys get your approvals soon! We got ours today through an update on the website. No letter in the mail yet. NOA1 9/11

I'll create an account for cupcakes when I get to states... I take donations on all type of sugary goods

We did try! We did already reschedule our date with no added fees, but we can have our courthouse wedding (which is okay with me) and save more for our “second wedding” now. ☺️
Youll get your copy soon!! Our timeline still said another 8-10 days at least, and our NOA2 was silent as silent can be. I think we will have more silent updates than notified ones. Just hold on! I can’t wait to celebrate with you when you get your hard copy. ❤️ It’s been a long road for all of us berries!

Crazy how much the "received" numbers vary from day to day! No wonder the 5th is taking a while with 274 cases! And the 11th is looking pretty monstrous! But so good to see some progress.

I worked late today...so that I can do a midday scan in case there are approvals to be seen by noon  (which is my morning hehe I may go late!)

I'm guessing you're not as your country says Philippines. If you're not applying in japan, and you didn't return to japan after getting the certificate you most likely don't need one.
 
in japan I believe it says it supposed to be within 1 year.
 
check the information given on Philippines USEM website if it says differently.

I ask already Japan Police Embassy before Davao consulate,,manila japan said just bring my passport no need letter from embassy .Me and my Fiance went inside Jpan Embassy manila and talk the guy insde...and Davao Japan Consulate The lady told me to bring my NOA1 hard copy beccause thats the usem told them thats the requirements and they let me to have police clearance ..Thers also other Pilipina from davao got their police clearance showing only noa1 hard copy.And They have no problem..The lady told me sometimes it tooks 3 months or more  because were in Davao ,but in Manila just only 2 months or 1 month and half...and they gave me receipt to update my police clearance...
