It came from the VJ autobot.  I think it takes your timeline information and extrapolates on other cases to give an estimate. 

Good luck and be patient!  We filed ours in April and it was recieved in 4/23, but didn't get the NOA paper until June. They did apply the fingerprints from AOS, so we get to skip that step!

Congrats!  We were updated on our status that biometrics were added.  I guess from previous fingerprints during AOS.

Hey everyone,  so we sent an email to the lockbox address on May 24th.  Well, we recieved our NOA's  in the mail today. So just keep your eyes open,  yours will come!

Exactly this!  Honesty is the only way to go.  The immigration people are not stupid, no matter what you think of the government.  They do this stuff day in and day out, and they have probably seen everything.  Just be truthful in everything, and be patient.  They may be slower than what we would like, but in the end, the cases get done.

Update..... i got letter to appear for interview for PR case.  My interview will be Aug 27. 
 
 

I was told that tourist visa applicants from some countries are heavily scrutinize by US .  Don't underestimate the US immigration . They are not stupid and they may have seen all sorts of ways people try to enter US.  Some of those applying for tourist visa to US want to enter US on the pretense that they are just visiting but plan on staying.    They check if you are a high risk of  you not returning to your country after end of your visit.  They may check if you have investments, family, job, etc.
Now with the Trump administration's tough policy on immigration, you don't want to be dishonest and risk of getting denied visa or your greencard being revoked if they find out you try to deceive them.  Honesty is the best policy.   Now they are even trying to de-naturalize naturalized US citizens and deny your application if they find errors on your application without giving you a chance to correct it.  It is a scare time for all those applying for immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

Received 2 letters that EAD/AP was approved and card with 1 year expiration. is to be delivered on 7/19

I got 2 letters from uscis today, my EAD got approved!! I wasn’t really thinking about it anymore except for yesterday, when I checked the thread and here it was! My original NAO is 2/22/2018, it got approved on July 9th and my field office is Portland, Oregon.

Well this is a bittersweet moment, my EAD arrived today but despite me sending off for AP at the same time, my card does not have that included (says at the bottom 'not valid for reentry to US'). Unless I am mistaken there is not much I can do about that, so I assume I'll have to wait until I receive my GC. Annoying as I was hoping to travel but a good thing that we didn't book anything yet I suppose. Still, a day to celebrate!

My 1st daughter's EAD arrived today (my 2nd daughter already got hers last week). So now we are complete. awaiting her SSN in the mail in the next 3 or 4 days. Now we just need to get ready for the AOS interview coming up on the 6th of August. 
To all those waiting on their EADs and Interview dates I say hang in there its a matter of having patience. Good luck to you all.

I got another "no new update and we are still processing your application" email this morning and when I checked my status it says EAD card is being produced.  
I have a feeling that every time they touch your application, you get that email.   I got 3 of these in one month so I doubt it is an automated  inactivity message.  Best to check your status when you get those messages.  Frustrating that although I signed up for text and email alerts , I am not getting any of them.
 
 

At Noon today I Received a message that my WIFE case is now updated. when i checked online. On July 11, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC**********, and will mail it to the address you gave us. 
USCIS received the package on February 20, 2018 and my estimated adjudicated on VJ were between July 10, 2018 and July 29, 2018.

When did you get married?  Had you already filed your 2017 taxes when you sent in you AOS?  I would say, bring a copy of the I-864 and have a copy of your 2017 Taxes as well, they may not want it, but always better to be prepared.  If you have a copy of the I-485 packet that you sent, bring that along.  Bring all evidence that you have a real marriage.  Any joint accounts, insurance, utility bills in both names.  And as always, pictures.  Pictures with family and friends.  Pictures of the wedding/reception.  Important to be relaxed.

Today we received text message saying that our case status was updated. Logged in and it says the work permit is being produced. It’s been a long wait. Hang in there everyone else that is still waiting. Took a 159 days.

USCIS status checker was updated to say an interview was scheduled on 7/6/18
I received "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes.  We last took action on your case on June 25, 2018.""  
It is confusing that I received that generic email about "no new updates and we are still processing your application".  Even more confusing is that DHS site says nothing about an interview and have not even received EAD/AP!
I guess if you receive an "no new updates and we are still processing your application" then check if there are any new updates to your application.
Looks like the February filers are receiving there interviews about now.
