I'd say give USCIS the new address and have USPS at the new address to hold on to the mail. Additionally sign up for USPS's Informed Delivery and create an account on my.uscis.gov and you should get an email/text every time there a change in the case. For example, if the notification says "Biometrics mail sent" then keep an eye on the USPS Informed Delivery.

I wanted to use paper clips, but then it ended up being too bulky, so I used tabs. I believe I still used paper clips for some stuff like utility bills (just because there were too many pages), but not for everything.  

Did you use tabs on your paper or paper clips to divide at all?

I'd say you're good. I sent in less than 20 pictures with both hard copy photos printed out from a store, and sheets of papers that gave summaries detailing what each photo was about and I did it in a way of story telling our adventures together as a Married Couple. From Dinners with my Family Members, to Holiday Events, Work Events (We had a company dinner with a group photo and then a few months later for Tet we had a group photo with her Nail Salon celebrating their New Year), birthday events, Family Birthday Events, Family Events like visiting her cousin to see her new 1mo old baby, and just focused on those events that would really piece things together for a nice story.

How many pictures did you include in your package? I'm at 31 pictures and hope that'll do it 🙈 backed up by all other evidence and affidavit letters from friends/family.

As far as I am aware of just your NOA1 paper you receive. I know people take them with them as a pre-caution but that is about as much as I know since that paper tells Custom that you're still good to go if you're past your expiration date. Told my wife the same think but she's from Vietnam and they're all currently under lock downs lol so she is like eh, it can wait another year. lol

Are there any special precautions to take when traveling while having a "pending" status? I will send out my packet this week and will travel to my home country next month and am just curious if there is any extra paperwork to take with me to make sure they let me back in lol

No ESTA needed as you have AP

ESTA is a travel authorization to board the plane. Your AP also lets you board, so there is no need for an ESTA.

New Card Is Being Produced!!! AOS DONE! Phew! That's 1yr9months of not having to deal with USCIS again. 
 
Do we need to repay the fee when we get the 10yr card? That would suck! 
 
Also, the health insurance thing was scraped for this year in most states. 

Update: Had our interview 2 hours ago. 
 
It was really simple, maybe 10mins if even that. He just said he doesn't have much to ask us the state already did most of the work. 
 
Asked me what my husbands name is and his DOB. Asked me if I work. Asked my husband if he works. When and where we got married.. Asked to see our house deed and when the house was purchased. I was only recently added to the deed and he wanted to know and we explained the house was purchased by my husband before we were even engaged. Asked a bunch of legal questions like any criminal activity or immigration legal stuff like illegal entry stuff, the same stuff we fill out on the application then randomly asked what todays date is? lol I didn't know, we all laughed. He looked through our photos, immediately recognized my mum as my twin lol. Asked to see our joint accounts. Then we were done, literally less than 10 mintes. Then explained the 3 possible outcomes. Thanked us and walked us out. So apparently they have up to 3 months to make a decision. But he explained if I go back to New Zealand to visit I need to carry the green card with me when I return and not to lose my green card cause it's expensive to replace and spoke about me not enrolling to vote because it won't look good if I apply for citizenship later down the road. ( I took this as a good sign). So yeah they don't actually approve you at the interview and have to get a supervisor to sign it off first. So that sucks because more waiting but I'm working and have already integrated into society here so until my EAD expires I'm not too worried and it should be done by Novemeber.

Habe die Gruppe gerade erst entdeckt und dachte mir ich sag auch mal Hallo...
 
Gluecklicherweise habe ich den K1 Prozess hinter mir. Hat von absenden des Antrages bis Einreise in die USA knapp 10 Monate gedauert. Und momentan sind wir im naechsten Prozess der elend langen Warterei! 
 
Letztes Jahr im Juni habe ich den Antrag fuer Adjustment of Status / Employment Authorization & Advanced Parole abgeschickt. Im Juli hatte ich dann mein Biometrics Termin. Ende November habe ich endlich meine EAD/AP Card erhalten und warte seitdem auf einen Termin zum Interview (seit Juli 2018 🤯)!!!
 
Fuer solche lange Wartezeiten brauch man starke Nerven. Umso schoener das es solche Gruppen und Foren wie diese hier gibt!
 
 

They will have a way to eliminate those who they think will be causing them time and trouble later with the lawyer. I know they won't  ask directly, but they will have some other questions like, what's your  current status ..etc. That happened to me quite often before... 

I know right?! I feel like the whole application process in germany is waaaaay easier than it is over here! You have to go through phone interviews, then a first and second in-person interview... jeez! And everything just takes so long! Crossing my fingers that you'll succeed soon!

No worries. No one wants to go into a hiring process and have to tell a potential employer they might be asking illegal questions, but knowing what questions they're allowed to ask might help to avoid answer the more grey area ones. Good luck in your job search

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview as of July 25!!!! This is ridiculous and so frustrating!
