Travel on AP / ESTA needed?

Good morning all,

 

I recently had my interview but my status hasn't changed yet. I do have the EAD/AP combo card and will be traveling outside the country next week. Other than the combo card, marriage certificate and passport I was wondering if I need an ESTA as well? Or will it be fine without ESTA?

ESTA is a travel authorization to board the plane. Your AP also lets you board, so there is no need for an ESTA.

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received
