    Sie sagen, Packet 4 kommt als "einschreiben". In Deutschland bedeutet das, dass es mit DHL oder mit dem regulären Briefträger kommt? Ich schaue jeden Tag auf mein Fenster!

    Einschreiben Einwurf oder Übergabe kommen mit der normalen Post!
    Ich glaube, Special_K hat eine SMS bekommen, dass das Kuvert auf dem Weg ist!
    Ich drücke dir die Daumen, dass dein Pass bald kommt! Hast schon einen Flug?

    Gut wenn Pack 3 mit der Post kommt. Ich warte sowieso noch auf die Unterlagen aus Amerika. Mein Herr Verlobter hat sich Zeit gelassen :D

    I know, and I thank everyone of you for the encouraging words!
    I've driven myself crazy.... it was awful. I was shaking so much, and if my friend wouldn't have watched out for me I'd probably have run off today lol 

    Not precisely. I need to wait until the embassy sends me pack 3 by snailmail, then submit my documents, and once they have it all they'll unlock the online calendar for me to schedule it.
    Someone posted the calendar of the US Embassy in Germany and there were a couple of slots available in beginning and middle of August. Which would be cool, because my birthday is on the 17th and I've cancelled my apartment for the 31st of August.

    Planning on traveling around end of first/beginning 2nd week of September. I hope it works! :)

    Thank you so much! It was a real burden and I was stressed out til the edge for it! I screamed when we got out of the clinic... Still unreal I won't have to worry anymore!

    @Holly♡ I hope so much your NOA2 will pop in any day! Feel hugged!!

    @CubaAndChill I hope things have been normalizing a little for you, dear! Good to read your name again! Chin up... if life throws you rocks, just pick them up and build something beautiful. Your time will come! I'm sure it was for a reason! Big hug from Deutschland!

    Hey Whiners! :)

    Some news from a very tired German weirdo! :)

    Got up at 3am, picked up a close friend for moral support, left here at 4am for the 3,5 hour drive to Frankfurt.

    Got to the clinic, got a wristband saying "USA 1", which meant I was first (holy crapples I'm so  happy we left that early; others are sitting there for hours!!!).... was a nervous wreck, shaking and blabbering pure nonsens, forgot my wallet in the car, forgot my own adress lol .... BUT....

    MEDICAL EXAM IS DONE AND PASSED!!!! :D:D:D

    I couldn't be more relieved! My lungs are fine, nothing in there! :):)

    One step closer - now I can really start looking forward, and start selling the big furniture here.

    :)

    Now it's 8pm, I'm still up, worn out and dead. Gonna take a shower and hit the hay... with a relieved sleep knowing of being healthy! :):)

    A girl I know (lucky her, she's flying from Germany to Detroit for good today) has told me that she had a giant delay in her case, because of NVC changing their system to electronic cases.
    So it doesn't seem it's on USCIS side....
    And when I called NVC, the operator said "you're one of our new electronic cases", so I assume they're done changing already, since this girl is a January filer and already flying out; means she had that "trouble" around May.

    In the German subforum I got told all German petitions are becoming electronic cases. I don't know about others though. 

    So long story short: To me it seems only NVC, not USCIC has had changes, and it doesn't affect the NOA1 to NOA2 stage.

    Just my 2 cents, which could be wrong!

    Aside from the letter of intent, can i also include screenshots of our text convos about our wedding plans?  I also have a tailored-made dress that I'm planning to wear on the wedding day (i just need to ask the tailor to give me a receipt). Will those suffice?

    We just had a plain letter for each of us in the petition documents, stating that we're intenting on marriage. 
    Evidence was put seperately. You must have submitted your evidence already?

    And it sounds to me like they'd want one of the listed things to verify you want to get married. So for my eye the LOI would be enough. 

    Maybe others will reply, who had a RFE for the same reason, and tell you what they sent! :)

    Great! That's an easy fix! :)
    There's a Letter of Intent required for the beneficiary and the petitioner, one for each.
    If they just ask for that, just send that.
    If they'd want more evidence, they'd have asked you.

    I'd stick with what they asked you for!
    Don't forget, it has to be with wet signature! :)

It's very different from the Europe more common CV standard. I would have my intermittent breakdowns... being without friends and such... but luckily with a husband to pick me up. :)

    At least you're admitting it! It's what I'm expecting for me haha

     

    10 years on my job, with not a day sick - down to zero. That will become interesting ;)
