Good luck ☺️
Thank you!
Not received yet!
He said - like the woman on Tuesday - that as soon as it's in the system the email goes out to all parties on the petition.
I'll give them til Tuesday now, if nothing is there I'll call again
But it was really quick - only 4 minutes incl. waiting line. 13 minutes on Tuesday! (Ugh, since I'm calling from German cell phone and see my Euros disappearing hehe) -

After seeing Eric and Olya got their number, i made Todd call NVC just now
Guess what, we also got our number ! Happy dance
@TearsOfBabylon, it's your time to call!
So tempting, haha!
But I called on Tuesday already? -

Isn't the chest x-ray basically only checking for TB?
It is... but I'm 37, smoking (I know.... bad) and have hypochondric tendencies.
So I'm beyond panicking for them to find something by accident, which isn't supposed to be there.
Once that is over and done and GOOD I can finally look forward to later!
(Weird, I know...)

He called yesterday morning, and it went straight to the voice recording, so he hung up.
Then he called in the evening again, and managed to get through. So basically the first call, yeah. We are lucky this time
Fingers crossed for you!
Great! You deserve that, after the RFE bummer!
I called on Tuesday at 13:30 CET, and including the waiting line it was 14 minutes. So not too bad either!
I've got your instructions screenshotted here at the work computer haha -

Thank you! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Eric's message first thing in the morning!
He called yesterday evening and followed the instruction that I shared (dialled 7). No email yet. I think they send it when the case is being sent to the embassy.
Thank you! I am looking forward to congratulating you too soon
Ohhhhh okay!
Maybe I give it another try today. Actually I've planned on not calling again until next week.
But tomorrow would still be a chance to rush to the medical in case they have something. Hmmmm....
Was it his first call?
Just snuck your timeline, your NOA2 is a few days after ours, so maaaaaaaaaaaaybe?!
Though all the Germans I'm in touch with said, it really takes a month to get the number. Now you're proof of opposite hehe17 minutes ago, GazLisa said:That's great news 📰 to hear ☺
Are you through the medical yet?

If you want to try specialties from frankfurt go to the neighnorhood 'Sachsenhausen' to a traditional restaurant , for example 'Atschel' 'Schreiber Heyne' or 'Affentorschänke'. Drink some Apfelwein and eat Grüne Soße!
Sachsenhausen is also the most scenic neighborhood!
Oh jaaaaa!!!

Hello my dearest March Whiners!
We got our case number, it was assigned yesterday! Yay!!!
Good luck to those who are still waiting! I do hope you are all approved soon!
Congratulations!
Woooooow! Olya!!
Congratulations! Dang, that was quick!! See - you're now ahead of me, while you were bummed for the RFE! Everything turned and will further turn out good! Great!
Really happy for you!
Necessary question: Did you call or did they send THE EMAIL to Eric?
I kind of cancelled my apartment for August 31st, so I'm eager to receive ours! -

They updated the processing time! It's now February 15th....
I just submitted an inquiry (I called USCIS)....
I didn't get the standard "within normal processing times".
We'll see what happens now (if anything)
I saw your post in a different thread.... holy cowballs... Kudos for your strength (explicitly not saying "patience", cause yours is forced)!
I hope the torture will end with an approval soon! Best of luck! -

ya I think that's what I'm talking about except I have it on android.. same idea. but mine only allows next 20/30 or 50 cases and only lets me check it max 3 times a day.. I already kind gave up on it.. I just like how it counts my days since I applied for me HAHA
HAHA!
Oh.... I finally understood I can "scan" like 5 days before we got NOA2 lol
So.... actually I had it for useless refreshing ever since, because my common sense wasn't strong enough to test the features
I wish there was a tracker for the time between USCIS and NVC, where the case is in like a black hole.
I kind of cancelled my apartment today for end of August (limits... sigh), so now I'll start panicking for the casenumber, haha.
Seems this entire process is full of waiting, more waiting, panicking, waiting and panicking. And waiting. -

bahahhaha totally.. I would totally get a job approving petitions after going through this process ..too bad they don't do it in Chicago! lol... I mean they have to have some sort of deadlines and I'm sure they work hard .. I just worry about missing petitions.. I work in an office and see how some people leave their stacks of paperwork on their desk .. eeek
I feel you.
I'm an office dragon AND German!
So.... I'd be the Whipmaster of adjudicating lol -

have you checked out the phone ap? where you can search "near by cases" I have quite a few "near by" that are approved or requested info (and one person denied because they didn't sign their papers.. but a lot of received too. its just funny because their wac #'s are after mine.. I'm assuming background checks are huge... my fiancé is from Chicago (not to downplay Chicago but there is a lot of corruption/crime there) and not to mention he has a latino last name that a lot of criminals have LOL so I am assuming we will be getting some hits! (I am assuming they background check the petitioner not only beneficiary???? but I could be mistaken?? )
No, I just used the normal case tracker app on the iPhone, and checked about 100 cases around our WAC number, to see if there were RFE around our date.
So I could see a tiny bit of "movement".
But first thing after blowing nose and wiping tears of relief after seeing the pic of NOA2 I deleted the damn thing! -

apparently it only takes 15 min to review a case.. so if you work in an 8 hr day you think it would go a bit faster
They should outsource that to us.

I think they share workloads from an article I read on here.. I don't think that the petitions sit on one persons desk and if they are off work they don't get touched. But I agree something is super bizarre.. either they are updating their system or not working on new petitions until they have old ones completed.. or maybe back ground checks are taking longer than normal.... or maybe with the USA economy a lot more applied than we think!
I saw that article as well, and I totally agree with what you posted up there.
I tried to express that people shouldn't rely too much on the timeline here, because only a tiny bit of these around 4000 petitions are members here AND update their timelines.
(I checked my timeline as well... like freak in a hamster wheel!)
And that to me it seems - why ever in this world - USCIS probably accidentally loops around most people here, while many, many others are approved at the same time. Call it bad luck, or whatever. But the loop must end and approvals must drop in here again!

Holidays do make it slower unfortunately..and yes many don't update but I only see 1 from after 22 so
Yeah I know.
But you gotta think, there's about 4000 petitions for March, how many people are active on here, active in the March thread? A tiny bit... so to me it seems - unless all of USCIS laid down work - like it does a loop around our sweet people here.
Or ... and I hope it's not, but it's what filers have to consider: Processing time went back to "normal" = 5 months according to USCIS.
Someone wrote on another thread: "Be ready for 5 months, be happy if it's 3".
Something is weird. I'm so sorry for all those who are waiting for so long. -

There's our NOA2 in the pic, and it has notice date from 3 weeks ago.
I have doubts people are updating their timelines right, or at all.
Can't be correct there's no approval since then, unless the weird case happened and only non-VJers got approved.

Also weder an noch ausgeschaltet.
Alles klar, vielen Dank!
Parkplatz bekommt man gut da?

Super!

WAS darf man denn mitnehmen?

And what's worse is we tell our foreign fiance's that "the estimated time is such and such" and the time comes and goes and we look like we don't know what we are talking about. Its pretty hard to plan a life together when we are talking about months difference between estimated times and the reality of when these applications are processed. Government inefficiency at its best.
Out of the alien fiancé sight: You're right. The planning is a pain... it's stressful and annoying to deassemble a life and mainly a household (with limits for quitting and stuff) without any clue of a date.

Received date March 10... still waiting for NOA2 .. 😫 Seems like i am the only one left prior March 15 received dates
No, there are so many more.... who knows what happened to slow everything down.
I kept saying the March filers must have a spell on... first the tracker isn't working anymore, then the first long silence in beginning June, and now again... -

I know, my fiance is starting to question if the visa is even real since all I tell her is "soon soon". Very depressing. I had hoped to have her here by now.
I can feel you.
But honestly, having it all done by now would be a little sportive goal these days, even with an early March NOA1.
We got NOA1 on March 17th, NOA2 on June 23rd, and I'm hoping to move first or second week of September.
A girl I know is a January filer and moving next week, with a little delay due to NVC changing parts of their system.
So I cross my fingers for you and your fiance to make the final big jump across the pond by the same time I will. That'd mean you'll get NOA2 shortly and from then on everything runs smoothly!

Good to see I'm not the only one paranoid.
I'll be so happy once this medical is done and there's no evil spots on my xray.
