K1visaHopeful reacted to FrancesTaber in K1 Interview Wait times for Montreal
Hi there,
I went through K-1 a while back, but my soon to be sister-in-law is in the process right now. She was given authorization to book her interview earlier this week, and when she logged on there was still a date or two in May as well as dates in June (I can't recall if it also showed July already since I know she picked a June date). Back when I booked mine in 2015 it showed dates up to 3 months out however that could have changed.
It is my understanding (when I did this process as well as now) that you are unable to check interview times until you receive authorization to schedule an interview (aka Packet 4 via email) from the consulate.
Best of luck!

These numbers are not exact as I've rounded to the hundreds, and are not "the exact first" for a particular day, but I know many of you like doing mini scans using the phone apps... so here's approximate numbers you can use for each date if you are so inclined.
38300 11/01/17
39600 11/02/17
41000 11/03/17
42500 11/06/17
44400 11/07/17
46100 11/08/17
46700 11/09/17
48500 11/10/17
50200 11/13/17
51500 11/14/17
53200 11/15/17
54200 11/16/17
55700 11/17/17
58300 11/20/17
60200 11/21/17
61000 11/22/17
62300 11/24/17
65900 11/27/17
66600 11/28/17
67500 11/29/17

Exactly. I've been reading through some of his questions.
Remember that moment in your VJ life when everything was confusing and then all of a sudden you saw the "light" and everything made sense even though it didn't make sense?. Like Eureka? I remember my moment, lol.
I'm hoping to help him find his 😍

Plus you do realize that the application numbers do not go in chronological order of dates all of the time, right?
You do realize that they still haven't finished all of the applications from prior months either right...
Ie there are still ppl waiting in June, July, Aug, Sept AND Oct that have not had their case touched but the number right above theirs and right below there's has been approved.
There is no order.
They just tell us on the USCIS website that they have STARTED looking at applications from a certain date. Right now it's Oct 5th for California Service Centre. But that means nothing. They could approve an application from January and they could approve one that's not approved from June yet ....all in the same hour.
There is no method that has been explained to us. We just look at TRENDS in approvals by what the apps provide us with.
Not sure what concrete evidence/method you are looking for...
Explain to me what you are confused about and maybe I can explain it better @hassan247

As far as I know though, you can't check the interview availability until they ask you to schedule your own interview. If you can, somebody please let me know!!!

Oh yeah I gave up on this process long time ago... I did everything. read everything, every published research to article on even immigration research journals! read court records to articles from both sides. all the data provided and not provided that I could find!
My conclusion?

Lol yes but what I'm saying is you now understand that nothing makes sense. AND you've given up hope on/are okay with that it doesn't make sense.
(He's trying to make sense of it still/beating a dead horse).

This whole conversation is the reason I don’t put WAC numbers anymore.. because it has nothing to do with the numbers it is always about the dates..
Although this is not the situation right now, please be aware;
two cases can have the same date but their numbers can be 100000 apart (yes it happens) and get adjudicated the same date before the 100000in between even touched.

Alright, here's the results of the full scan from tonight. I wouldn't call this significant movement, however, it could be a good indicator more November cases will start being processed. I will check the scans daily. I was really expecting the first movement to be a bunch of Withdrawals, and we haven't seen that yet.
