Hello fellow Canucks!

Just wondering if anyone has any insight on current wait times for scheduling the K1 interview at Montreal after receiving your NVC#.

Is there a way we can check availability before receiving our NVC#?

Sorry if this is a repeat but I didn't see anything current or regarding if we could check availability without the NVC#.

Can you send me a link to where you have moved it please? I had a horrible time trying to find this thread regarding consulates to begin with.

Just follow the menu selections right underneath the blue bar at the top of the screen.

I haven't scheduled my interview yet but my case is now "In Transit" to the Montreal Consulate.  Hopefully I'll know soon and will reply here!

As far as I know though, you can't check the interview availability  until they ask you to schedule your own interview.  If you can, somebody please let me know!!!

Hi there,

I went through K-1 a while back, but my soon to be sister-in-law is in the process right now. She was given authorization to book her interview earlier this week, and when she logged on there was still a date or two in May as well as dates in June (I can't recall if it also showed July already since I know she picked a June date). Back when I booked mine in 2015 it showed dates up to 3 months out however that could have changed.

It is my understanding (when I did this process as well as now) that you are unable to check interview times until you receive authorization to schedule an interview (aka Packet 4 via email) from the consulate.

Best of luck!

What does it mean when you remove a post and put it somewhere else? This is the exact question I've been trying to find the answer for, and I only see this question here.
