kevinnn got a reaction from cumulonimbus in I-751 February 2021 Filers
Just received notice that my wife's I-751 was approved. Vermont (EAC) service center. We filed from Brooklyn, NY.
Interestingly we just submitted the N400 application a few days ago. I'm not sure if that prompted movement on her case or if it was pure coincidence.
Hopefully it doesn't get lost in the mail! Really looking forward to her no longer needing to present the extension letter at the border, which always makes me nervous.

If the spreadsheets are up to date, looks like there are some ones in December 2020 getting processed.

My wife also just received her 24 month extension letter. That's good to hear you had no trouble re-entering the US. When traveling back, do you need to bring just the green card + extension letter? Or green card letter, plus the original NOA for the I-751, plus the extension letter?

I'm a March 2021 filer but I just want to stop by to say that they have started producing my card today.
Filed date: 3/11
Card produced: 9/14
I'm a WAC filer btw. So if you are WAC as well, stay patient, I feel like your turn is coming very soon.

We received my husband's card in the mail on 07/02/21, approval date was 06/25/21. No interview needed (Texas Service Center). I'm not sure if it was me frontloading out petition to show tons of proof, covid or a combination of both but that was extremely quick and unexpected.
I'm updating timeline and Google spreadsheet to help others.
I wish all of you still waiting tons of luck and thoughts. I know the waiting sucks but trust in the process. USCIS has never done us wrong so far.

Adding to the chorus here: my wife (K1 AOS applicant) and I traveled over the holidays for three weeks. She used her AP document on the way back in and everything was smooth at JFK. The most annoying part was the airlines taking a lot of time to understand the AP document when we checked in on the way back.

Woohoo! Just got my wife's NOA. Actually, we got two identical NOA letters. Is this expected?

Hi, my wife is an October 2017 Brooklyn filer (still awaiting interview). Not sure if there's a better place to share this experience, but my wife and I (I'm a USC) decided to travel with her AP document over the holidays. Coming back at JFK we were put into separate lines (her in the "visitor" line) which is different than what I've read elsewhere. Her processing of course took longer (the non-citizen line was about an hour) and when she talked to the border agent he took her into the additional screening room. After reviewing her AP document she wasn't questioned any further and they stamped the document with "PAROLED". Everyone was polite.
I know traveling with an AP is a risk (we were anxious) so just wanted to share in case others have decided to travel despite the possibility of it complicating the AOS process. At least in our case it was very smooth coming back through the border.
