Got the approval on June 28th! About time!!!
Now awaiting the letter in the mail as well as the green card.

When I was in the Navy, this was a very important thing to do so that I can have everything prepared and quadruple checked, ready to file whenever I wasn't sailing. Some are able to do the AOS quickly, but, with all of the problems with how everything is defined and how important it is to study up on every immigration law pertaining to your immigration path, it is worth it.
Not doing so leaves room for errors. Errors are even more costly. Especially since the tiniest mistake could give USCIS probable cause to deny any application no matter how authentic the relationship may be.

I'm sorry you've not recieved AP approval yet. I hope the best! Well, if not this Christmas, next Christmas for sure we should all have approvals lol.

Why am I seeing so many interviews scheduled and Green Card approvals but my wife hasn't heard anything yet?
I'm in the Navy, I tried to expedite the process and nothing happened even though I'm going on deployment. They told me that her case might go a bit faster because I'm military but I feel that was a lie.

Quite update: biometrics letter arrived today!  Appointment in Raleigh January 3rd, hope you all have a great holiday!

If you've already completed your vaccination requirements befire entering the U.S.A. then you are not required to fill out the whole I-693 packet.
However, if you haven't completed all your required shots, as they can take a bit of time to get, then you do not jave to submit your I-693 packet with the I-485 packet. You have some time to submit it on your own time as long as it is on or before your initial interview for biometrics or just for the I-485 itself.
Just take a breather and do things one step at a time.

It's normal procedure, I don't believe u have anything to worry about- yes some people go through AP for longer than others, unfortunately I seem to be one of them. (See signature) 
 
i had had the same experience as ur fiancé and received a white paper stating I was approved etc. but I am still on AP, tmr will be 17 days  and there is nothing u can do but wait..
