My husband and I had our AOS interview and it was longer than I thought all in all an hour. My husband was asked to leave while I was asked questions and then I left and they asked him and we all were brought back together all of our answers matched up perfectly. He didn’t say if we were approved or denied but he said watch the mail. How do we know if we were denied or approved I wish he would have just told us.

After we got approved for the 129F visa we recetly moved. Do we need to update our address before filing AOS or is it not necessary at this point and going forward would just use our new address on forms? Thanks!

Anyone who is from Ghana, can you please tell me how where you would go to purchase your ticket if you do not use debit card? Also if its purchased in person do they charge a processing fee of some sort ? Thanks

So where did your fiancé come from and when did you file?? I got receipt notice or NOA1 on May 8th and haven't heard a word. My fiancé is in Jamaica and neither of us have criminal records, both employed, have houses and kids. Why is ours taking so long??
Ghana, and February 14. Ive notice that processing times seem to be taking a little longer. I am not to sure why but I am apart of a Facebook K1 group and yesturday May filers just said they started getting NOA2's. So I am assuming your will be coming soon! Hold tight 😊

Is the I-94 form given to you on the airplane when you get the Customs card to fill out, or is it given to you when you get to the CBP window. Or is it best to print offline ?

You also have to live in reality. The reality is that as of now most of these ppl are American. They know no other country. They are not to blame... the US has invested tons of money into them already. An investment that will only be returned by letting them stay. Not only does this decision make no sense from a humanitarian point of view - but if the economy is your argument it also makes no sense.. you'll have a hard time arguing that they are criminals since there are requirements on DACA applicants that prevent that.
I agree with your point. These young adults have probably taken out hundreds of thousands in student loans to attend school some have business and are doing great. So much money invested. I don't see the point its not like they begged their parents to bring them here at one, two or three years old. or whoever brought them. What about the little kids ? I wonder what happeneds to them. This is so sad. I feel like trump just wants to do undo everything Obama did. Its a mess 😔

My best friend, since 20 years is Ghanian. I visited Accra. He tells me it is full of Azaa Man, and no one can be trusted. He tells me, almost every Ghanian will scam for a visa, if the chance arrives, like it is absolutely clear. This is said by a Ghanian not a German...
Ehhh well I may be biased, but I do not think everyone is like that. Ghana gets thrown a lot of shade but its not that bad lol.

My fiance and I been talking on the internet for a year and want to get married in January. This will be first time meeting him in person and going to Ghana? Should we wait to marry or can I file fiance visa?..we really love each other
I would wait and meet in person then proceed. Sometimes people are not the same as they are behind a screen. When you meet and spend time with that person that's when you truly get to know them. Actions speak louder than words. You don't have to take anyone's advice, but please at least listen to the ones from the Ghana portal who have either married or brought their spouses over from Ghana. I wish you all the best in however you decide to proceed!

If your application stays in your country while you are undergoing administrative processing it will still be valid. If they return it to the US, then yes it is expired and no longer valid.
My recommendation is for the USC to contact their congressman if you are on AP over 30 days, esp if it's past your expiration date. Our congressman representative was able to get information about our status every 30 days. Our visa was returned to the US after 14 weeks and allowed to expire. USCIS never contacted us so without the congressman representative we would not hsve known.
After they approved you they sent it back ? That's just crazy. I wonder why approve people then return it. Did you get your passport back ?

Our K1 visa has been on administrative processing and we were approved 2 weeks ago at the interview. Ive heard it can stay like this for months. If our K1 expires by then do we have to reapply all over again ?

Did he receive his visa or are you waiting?
Usually it says:
"Received" or
"Administrative processing"
When you are waiting...
It will change when the visa is issued.
Well they took his passport and he received a blue slip. It just says Application received

My fiance had his interview last Monday August 21st and its in an application received status and his visa was approved. What does that status mean ?
-
I was curious, can you apply for the travel documents and work visa prior to applying for AOS? If so is it automatically approved and when you apply for AOS finally does that reset the Work authorization and travel ?
Thanks

I couldn't agree more, I heard that it's best to wait two weeks after POE, we have one more week to go!
Why did they say wait ?

I have read so many threads were couples gets married without filling for the social security number for their fiance first. It seems like it makes the whole process for the AOS more stressful because your fiance cannot be added to a lot of your accounts with no social so it makes for less evidence when applying. So everyone, apply for the social first!
That's all...

Approved from Ghana! We thank God ! All last night I was very nervous leading up until my fiancé interview because so many people would say Ghana is a high fraud embassy so many K1's don't get approved and that you have to front load your petition this and that which may be true , but we made it. I can honestly say I sent about 15 pictures maybe 10 chats a plane ticket stamp and that was it. My fiance was in this with me 150% he did his part so well. I never felt like i was doing all of this by myself even though we are 9000k miles apart. My fiance was only asked 3 questions and he was interviewed my a young African american man. Guys it doesn't feel real yet. It doesn't. We have had so much support during this whole process from both of our families our church, friends and this group has been beyond helpful. My fiance was so confident and went into this with such a positive attitude which helped a lot. I feel so emotional writing this because I would always pray and say God if you are for this please allow this to happen all the way from the beginning and the signs just kept coming. I'm so excited and so happy. For those who are still waiting may your blessing happen soon. Never stop praying. This is only the beginning of something amazing ❤
