Just arrived at JFK airport using my EAD card combo for the first time. Very smooth process and the officer mentioned that until I get a green card I'll be brought into the secondary room for a parole stamp. Took about 15 minutes total.
Nice experience 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Hello, hope we're all doing well by God's grace and praying for updates and approvals.
I am in a tight spot which I wish I could get by. My problem is that I'm still waiting for my i360 approval or updates since I applied Feb 2017. I currently have a combo card which I can use to work and travel outside the US. My fear and worry is that I have just been offered a job with the United Nations based on my profession with my initial training of 2 months in Ukraine before further being sent out on my UN mission area which usually lasts about 4 months per each period (in total 6 months).
My worry is that will this affect my immigration status in any way for being away for such a long period of time.
My current combo card will expire in August but I have sent out my renewal months ago which I have received my 180 days extension along with advanced parole receipt notices.
I will really appreciate any advise of what best to do.
God bless 🙏 everyone.

Go to USCIS Case Status and log into that and see what it says. Both of mine said different things.
Yes I did log in on both sites and there was nothing new.
Thanks @Pinkrlion

One visa journey member had the audacity to ask me if i have a sister to introduce to him,
That's a shame. Instead of being worried about the current situation at hand that member went way overboard.
Sorry about that @sandranj and please don't take it to heart.
We all do appreciate all your work and effort.
God bless you 🙏

I received my NOA's today for my EAD/AP renewal same as the 180 day extension. It was received at Vermont on Feb 08,2019. My current EAD/AP expires in August 2019 but I just decided to send an early renewal just to prevent future delays.

Great! I know by seeing others timeline that Vawa takes around 20-24 months from start to finish. Please refresh your timeline and are you out of processing times?
Yes I'm out of processing times and it's been 2 years till date, filed Feb 2017 and we're in Feb 2019. My 360 is still pending, got an rfe in March 2017 and responded within 2 weeks for bonafide marriage which I resent everything I sent them earlier plus affidavits from my mum and others.
So my fingers are still crossed with this recent update.
Thanks for asking, really appreciate everyone's input.😊😊

That's from news I came across with regards to immigration delays.

@aquila You are currently outside of normal processing times. Have you or your attorney tried sending them a written letter saying this and explain any financial problems or problems overall you are currently enduring because of this?
This is unless you don’t have an EAD card rn.
I currently have an EAD and working so I think it distracts me a bit from thinking about it all the time. I handed it over my congresswoman to inquire for me so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. At the time of filling I couldn't afford a lawyer so all the information and resources I got was from the wonderful people on this page.
God bless everyone 🙏

Hey there aquila👋😊 I know the wait is excruciatingly painful!..infact so terrible that we start to get creative with imaginations! LOL! But the truth is I don't think any of us can help USCIS do their job. Refresh my memory..you sent in your RFE..and since then no word?
😊😊😊😊 Yes that's correct I was thinking if that could've helped, I sent the rfe and it was received on April 05,17. Nothing heard since, thanks for your response.

Thanks Sandra for your response.

I have a question open for ideas and suggestions:
My case response from my congresswoman was that my case was awaiting background check. So in this case if I get an FBI background check done and mail to Vermont will that decrease my waiting time?
I filed Feb 2017
Any response will be highly appreciated.
God bless us all

how long it take to EAD card after fingerprints thanks in advance
Sorry for the late response. It depends on the work load but ranges from 45-90 days. That's from my personal experience waiting for my case and currently about to renew my 4th EAD.
