On the ds-160 it says to enter approximate dates if you aren't sure.  It doesn't seem as if they are particular about the exact detailsas long as you are not trying to hide anything.  There are lots of posts on other threads by Canadians who had no idea how many times they had visited and mentioned this at interview and had no difficulties.

Arent you glad you are not one of those guys walking over Niagra bridge to Canada  on daily basis just to buy six packs because was cheaper :)

Can't tell you an average time, but for us it was precisely 3 weeks. The Consulate sent an email with all the necessary information about the following steps to the petitioner. I, the beneficiary, haven't been contacted by the Consulate at all. But when I logged into my account on usatraveldocs.com (I had registered there before) I saw on the dashboard info that my visa type is K1.

    Sounds good ,thanks

Me too. I thought the same thing when I saw the scan pass them. Luckily, I have all past data compiled into the MS access database, and have a query in there to give me the history of each WAC (as you cxan see). So I can see old statuses as well as their current status,

Hej geowrian if you head a dollar for each like, by now would be free ticket to Philippines. Good job kiping a hope up.

Slow day. Fridays... =.= At least we're starting to see some progress on the 11/23 cases (and even an 11/28 approval!). I just wish they cleared up more of the earlier cases as well.

Something strange with all those RFE s .????

I am unable to name them all, due to many of them not being publically known, but several FBI databases, NSA, and State Department databases are accessed.

It was just a wish, no way to find out. But opened an  RFE post, hopefully, people start posting some off their personal RFE,s  so others could avoid it and find post before sending unsure paperwork for processing

Wonder if there is a way to find out whats all those RFE,s are for? Or possibly people posting it on separate trend, ( someone should open one ) For others to get familiar with it and help to avoid it. Following for finance application was important to me and personally did everything to avoid any mistakes in that process, surely others also did so but failed.Wish could be avoided, RFE doesn't seem to be a big deal, but it dos slows down the whole process for one who gets it and for others.

Just opened a  RFE post, hope will help and people find it before following their application.

On the plus side with all the RFEs, it looks like they only add ~3 weeks to the entire process. Most of the time is getting the RFE and sending it back (~2 weeks from RFE status to Response to RFE received status). Once received, most RFEs tend to be adjudicated within a week or so. See the detailed case tracking below.

I think the biggest issue right now is a lot of Canadians are being turned away because they try to go and join the protests against Trump (which is illegal). I just want to get my engagement photos done and see my fiance!! Fingers crossed for a smooth drive over.

Posible. Have a nice visit. You lucky you can drive to see her/him, it takes me 14 H on plane to see mine.

Have you looked at the advice in the Canada sub-forum?  The US border guards will want proof that you are not planning to stay in the US.  Depending on the border guard, you may need to prove that you have ties to Canada: a rental agreement, mortgage payments, a letter from your employer stating when you plan to return, a letter from someone taking care of your children or pets, etc.  If my fiancé visits me, we are planning to have him bring several pieces of evidence that he plans to return home.

Never realize they are getting so tough on Canada border, when I fly to Europe or Asia only think they ask is : business or pleasure? that all .
