Hi All,
In few weeks I will be attending medical examination in Krakow, Poland. I would like to prepare myself for that - I am thinking of getting some vaccinations before going there in order not to waste any time later. Did any of you lately attend medical examination in Krakow or Warsaw? Which vaccinations will doctor probably prescribe? I am 25 years old. I don't think I had any vaccination in last 8-10 years.
On the ambassy webiste I found this information: Panel physicians who conduct medical examinations on behalf of visa applicants are required to verify that visa applicants meet the vaccination requirement, or that it is medically inappropriate for the visa applicant to receive one or more of the listed vaccinations: mumps, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, influenza, haemofilus influenzae type B (HIB), hepatitis A, hepatitis B, varicella, pneumococcal, rotavirus, meningococcal.
Think, you should get your vaccination as you are having med. exam, that way they will be in your papers as required. Why getting something that you won't need. some of those shots may get you sick for few days.

On my affidavit of support i have listed both of my sons and since i share 50/50 custody i listed partial dependents but on by tax return I have claim only one because my ex husband is claiming the other. Is this going to create a problem as being conflicting information?
Don't think there is anything suspicious or wrong with it. I claim also partial dependents on the form, but don't claim my kids in my taxes at all. And don't drive yourself nuts, if they want anything more they will ask you for it. Good luck.

I found out that my ex wife accused me for battery and got her green card through i751 cruelty waiver..she didn't file police report but somehow she got her greencard based on waiver... now I want to petition for my fiancee in UAE ... do you think I will be able to do it as my ex wife had got her green card through abuse waiver....but I wasn't proved guilty and is is didn't charge me for anything.. it was one sided decision by uscis... now I want to apply for k visa for my fiancée abroad. Can anyone help me ?
Think you should be ok, just honestly answer questions in form, it asks if you have been convicted of ...... so if you have not been convicted answer it appropriate. Fill all your papers right submit all the evidence of relationship ,and checkout lot of youtube videos about K1 visa process.Good luck .

Hi all.
I need your advise - my partner (who is a very handsome cuban guy from FL
) and I have been in an on-again, off-again kind of relationship since 2006, and this new year, we've decided that we'd like to tie the knot.
The issue is I'm coming from a (developed) middle eastern country where being gay is a crime (and punishable by death - yeah it sucks i know). He's coming to visit me this May (for that 2 month rule) and we'd start from there.
2 things that bother me:
- Can we apply for a K-1 visa for a same sex marriage bearing in mind that being gay is a crime in the country I'm applying from?
- We've known each other for more than 10 years but we didn't bother saving transcripts of texts, photos etc (we're not a selfie kind of guys, and chat histories get lost when you change your phone). Its just that we didn't know we would need it in the future. How do we go about this?
TIA
Dont get in trouble when he's visiting you ! think also where he's from in USA gay marriage must be legal not all states have legalize it ,so let him find out about this. US embassy ground is considered USA .So if you go for interview you have nothing to be afraid off. Good luck . There was few gay capoles in November forum try to contact them .

Has anyone here flew with Emirates Airline from the Philippines to the US?? Do they allow check in at NAIA even if the credit card used belongs to my fiance in the US? He will not be traveling with me and my son cause he's in the US
Not sure why you want to fly with Emirates, it is one of the most expensive ones, But if you can afford I suggest first class.

It may be good news for K1 's

Thank you! The next time we meet, we're going to pay extra attention to gathering lots of good evidence.
Good luck. Possibly you may have enough evidence now, and can start process, it is a long wait before all done

@geowrian or anyone else who may know. 1. Before you are issued NOA1 what all is checked? Is it literally just to see if you signed the check or is there more? Getting ready to fly back to Africa this month for the 4th time in 5 months. Thankfully the ticket was under $2,000 this time, but we are praying this is my last round trip flight without my husband. If there is any chance of anything I may need, I want to get it while I'm there on this trip. 2. Can anyone think of anything I should get as far as documents when I am there? I've been praying since day one that we don't get an RFE for anything. It was a 50 page document I sent in.
Take with you I134, may be needed on interview Ticket sounds expensive. JFK _TPE Taiwan is about $600 doll.Read somewhere to answer and give info. that is ask for, and don't valenter with any information that is not required.Good trip.

Think you are in wrong forum since he is moving to Australia, you should find out what is the process in your country.Requirements may be similar but every country has its own laws.
Oh ok, misunderstand .Good source of info is on youtube, watch some videos about it. All documents needs to be submitted by sponsor. So he will needs to send copies of your boarding passes make color copies of your passport with entry's to USA ( In American passport can not see a passport number when you open it and make a copy of entry stamps so i just folded the page so passport number and stamps are visible ) as front page with your picture on it so the numbers are matching . Pictures of both of you in US best with some landmarks, I send in copy of hotel receipt with my hers and receptionist signature on it, if you have credit card receipt from places you went and corresponding picture , and any proof that you meet him within 2 years, date the pictures and write where it was taken. And rest of documents that are required he can find all info on K1 visa site . Best do it sunest posible there maybe up to 3 months wait to get approved You may get lucky and get approved after 30 days but some people wait for 5 months. When he have all documents ready, check it and go over it for 4-5 days and make sure all is good ,looking at it that way you may find something that is incomplete some documents needs to be sign by you and original is needed so copy may give you RFE ( request for more evidence ) and that would delay process about a month. He can do it all by him self, lawyer is not necessary.make copies of everything just in case. Good luck.

My boyfriend is a U.S. citizen and I am an Australian citizen. We have been dating for a year and 8 months and have met in person 3 times now. Each time, I have been the one to travel to him because it works out for our situation best. I'm in my last year of university now, very beginning of the first semester and we are planning to begin our K-1 visa process once I finish my course in November. If all goes according to plan, by that time, he will already be working a steady job full-time and so the financial requirement for the sponsor shouldn't be a problem.
I'm very eager for the day that we can finally buy a one-way ticket and put all this long distance craziness behind us, but until that time comes, I was wondering what I can do -now- to hopefully help speed the visa process along once we get started. Does the beneficiary (me) need to send any evidence? My boyfriend has my boarding passes to the U.S. (a souvenir I gave him) and I have my boarding passes to get home.
Thank you!

My NOA1 date is Nov 7. I called today and got the same result as you did. They did mention they can expedite in emergency situations. I thought about claiming it as an emergency, but then thought otherwise.
It is a standard response , hear it many times before . Reality is that we are on their messy, and there is not much can be done about it. Just lot of patience, it will get done.

Are u applying for k1 visa? I-134 is turned in at the embassy when foreign fiancee goes for interview. The officer may or may not ask for it. If u already submitted, don't worry about it. That email must b just a generic information. Just take copy to interview.
The email should b ur copy of packet 3 then ?
Will make copy of it , it was based on 2015 , think will have my bank make a letter with current accounts balance and last years bank deposits, just in case. I am under assumption as Nvc forwarded the whole application to .embassy, but who knows? yes K1

Got email from embassy with attachment fiance visa epkt 3 with instructions about following and scheduling visa apointment,I'm the sponsor.
Dear Sir/Madam,
We have in receipt of an approved I-129F on your behalf of your fiancé(e), A, Amalia A, from the National Visa Center. Please read and follow the attached instructions very carefully. The case is filed under your fiancé(e)’s name and case number as shown below. When communicating with this office, please provide your fiancé name and case number exactly as shown below.
1. DS-160 online visa application form
4. The Form I-134 Affidavit of Support
Another thing , not sure why they are asking for I134 ,that was submitted with application so they supposed to have it with rest of documents.

Yes I'm relieved they looked at my file but what could they want!?
Don't drag yourself down, all is on a good track, you will find out in few days usually is something simple. Before I send in my petition, I thought everything was right, then looking at it for few days before sending it, I still found that original signature of beneficiary was needed.

Hi! I had the same question and e-mailed the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) INFO Center. This was their answer:
"Travel to a different country does not affect the K1 visa. You can enter the US from any country with the K1 visa. When you enter the US you have to get married within 90 days and then apply to change status. You need to get Advance Parole or a US permanent resident card before you leave the US."
Hope this was helpful :-)
Sure make sense, just don't go to those seven lucky countries that are on look out now.

Oh yayy! My case says ready too but when I go to make ACS and Consular appt it says case not ready for an appt. Did NVC sent you an appt or did you choose ur own date?
Just recive a letter with case number bar code from NVC seams like is the one averyone gets ,also there was a link that conect you to your embassy (click on it when scaned to your computer ) .Think you have to set your own apointment . When I check embassy site said that my case was created and few days leter updated , my asumption that it may mean that thay send info to my finance with instructions. Give few days and try again . Im just taking it slow, got to conclusion that few days at this point don't makes a diference .
