For .Anyone worry about their time in NVC, what I notice on DHL site is that NVC is packaging applications and sending it in bunch to countries that gets lot of petitions. found some packages 2 lbs going to Taiwan, like mine, and 1.6 lbs going to Havana, but for example Philipines,Mexico packages are send with weight of 15 -20 Lbs , have a dought that it would be one application weight 20 lbs . ( or someone just have a lot of relationship evidence
) Not sure if this is useful to anyone. (So sometimes it will take some time to bunch it all together )
And for all one sided liberal haters hate me if it makes you feel better. Don't bother's me what so aver.

Again your lack of empathy is astonishing. Not every couple can afford to pay for visits. Either money, work or other circumstances may affect visiting your partner. You should try to be careful with your words.
It has been said in the past that you're quite rude and I support their claims.
Appreciate your point of view.

Really Art786? I'm a December filer. Life circumstances have meant that it has already been 14 MONTHS since I've seen my fiance. I would give anything for one of us to be able to just up and visit.
Sometimes visits just arent possible or realistic at all. We've been hit by continual bad circumstances. Sure i could send myself broke visiting my fiance now but then we wouldn't be able to afford for me to relocate in however many months this process ends up taking. We all do what we have to.
Well, my friend, no one sad that long distance relationship is cheap, but is affordable for a average working person. Think you are well over due for a trip. http://flights.msn.com/en-us/flight-search

No not mars lol,its not easy because I live in south Africa and she has a full time job and cannot fly up and down I've been denied a b2 visa twice already so I we are doing the waiting game till our k1 is approved.
Well, not sure what to say, to not sound negative, but, realistically if there is a will there is a way. ( I am talking off her of course) .Will have to stop on this point. Good luck my friend.

I have no complains, Im just excited when I think about me and my fiance will start our new life together :D, I have prepared for the RFE because I figured out we made a mistake in our timeline, I just hope they didn't read that part hahaha. But I dont expect Im going to get approved quickly.
From how things slow down in November (almost nothing was moving for 2 months ) I was prepared to wait for six months or more. Great thing is that they are working on applications and in three digit numbers a day! It will come sooner than you expect, is all good. Think this is most exciting experience for all of us. Im kind off in shock that is moving forward.

I called NVC and I was told that K1 Visa is considered Non-Immigrant visa but that online on NVC website it will show Immigrant visa as application type on the drop down menu for K1 Fiancee Visa, instead of Non-immigrant. I also asked what DS Form I need to fill out. I asked if I need DS 260 since the application type is under Immigrant visa, he said I need the DS 160. Whew! I'm just overthinking things!
Good job, kind of know it, but great that you confirm it.

Nothing that comes fast and easy in life feels and seems valuable. Nothing in my life come easy, got approved after 80 days, seems weird that others are still waiting.Always try to prepare for worst so when good things happen feels as you deserve it and appreciate it more. Believe me anxiety don't end with approval. I have imagine spend my life by myself, now have someone, if it takes some time to be together is OK. Beats hell out of life before we met.

I know but if its under Immigrant visa, its asking me to do form DS260 instead DS160 for nonimmigrant visa. Its so confusing. I will call NVC again right now.
That's good news for you! I thought you can choose your own date for the interview??
Lat us know what you find out. Probably that info is somewhere online. Saw youtube video talking about it.type DS 160 in youtube.

Did the K1 Fiancee Visa change from Non-immigrant to Immigrant?? I noticed on NVC when I was checking our case status, that no information would come up under nonimmigrant. When I changed the category to Immigrant, I saw information on my case and it said it was still at NVC.
What aver it is, it is. Good job !! my show up to it says : In transit +
Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. Not sure what they mean by
interview date was provided to you ???

I feel your pain. My fiancée is from Vietnam and it seems extremely difficult for her to be granted a visa without me there by her side at the time of the interview. I am planning to be there for her interview even though it is on the other side of the world. It does make it very difficult for me to spend another $1,000+ on a plane ticket plus other expenses and to take a week or two off from work just to prove to the US Immigration interviewer that we have a real relationship.
Your fiance might just have to bite the bullet and show up there if that is what they want.
Go to msn then travel section - flight search. Got some really reasonable flights there, flown to Taiwan for less than five hundred in October

I went online today on NVC and entered the case# given and it doesn't bring up anything either. It doesnt even say its still at NVC or sent to Embassy. I wonder since it was just issued yesterday that it won't show any case status and it hasbt been updated onlin yet.
oh well, maybe after they send it to embassy is out of their system, think may be good news for us.
