If its  still at NVC you can see if its been mailed to your embassy. I'm not sure after that point. I think you can check on the website from your embassy.

    https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Thanks, been told that application was send to embassy already, did not get chance to ask for anything more, tried that  link before and dos not work for me?? Was given two numbers one long one short.

No unfortunately there is not, but once you get your case number you can go to https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx to track it.

Make sure that when you get your case number you get the Invoice number as well as Beneficiary number. You will need them both for future forms. Also, my fiance's email was not on file (needed for the embassy to contact them once the visa arrives at the embassy) So just double check that they have it on file.

The people at NVC are really nice and open to answering any questions you have. I talked to a woman for almost 20 min and she helped clarify some things that were confusing to me and she was really helpful!

    Thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm glad none of you went away and disappeared, I panicked for a minute lol

FYI, NVC Received my packet today from USCIS. My NOA2 was approved Feb 2, and 14 days later NVC received today. They have not processed my case#, so the waiting continues! <_<

Same date here, on my NoA2 stated that they already sent it to NVC .So they lied what is not uncommon in government, or some just before retiring on disability uscis member actually walk with it to NVC and just got there. Oh well wish they just used a post office to send it,  November 2.

    Hey everyone!

    Thanks Art786 for your answer!

4 days passed since we saw the 'case approved' on the page... and my fiancée (petitioner) didn't get any notification yet, lol.

It's time to patiently wait again for that notification, and then get ready to pester the NVC by phone, haha.

Thanks again for your kind reply Art786. Hope you get your NVC notification soon!

    Happy Valentine's day!

    Thanks . You to .

    Hey everyone!

First of all, our case was approved by USCIS (the lovely case status page told us), but we didn't get the e-mail notification yet.

I thought my fiancée (the petitioner) got it, but it was an error, lol (we were talking about different e-mails).

So, we're still waiting for any kind of communication from them.

Art786 I was reading your answer again, and I was wondering...

Our situation here (case already approved by USCIS) is that the only e-mail address we have provided so far is the applicant/petitioner's e-mail in the G-1145 form.

As far as we understood, that form is only meant for us to receive the USCIS notifications, so we thought only the petitioner could fill it out.

    Then, question 1:

Is the G-1145 only meant to receive the USCIS notifications?

(IF NOT, I understand that it could have been possible for me (the beneficiary) to also attach a G-1145...)

If the G-1145 is only meant (as we understood) to be used by the USCIS to send notifications... question 2:

Given that we only provided the petitioner's e-mail address: how will the embassy contact me (the beneficiary)?

( Will they send an e-mail to the petitioner? Will they just send me a letter by regular mail? )

Can't wait to read your answers guys!

May USCIS give you more approvals! and even more in Valentine's day!

Hi, the sponsor should recive all notifications of NOA1 and NOA2  as NVC notification of sending petition to USA embassy within 2-4 weeks of receiving it from  USCIS.When embassy receives application they will contact beneficiary.( that's what paper coppy of NOA2 states ) Beneficiary  contact info. is in  petition. Some people start calling after few days to NVC, after new petition number that should be given to us , but it clearly says on approved  NOA2 to call if NVC notification not receive in mail after 30 days.   That's what I know, posibly someone else know more or have better information. My NOA2 date was February 2 no news from NVC yet.

I'm just concerned it could be stuck in an administrative black hole somewhere - rather than the normal processing queue - as our immigration consultant had mentioned we should know if the expedite was approved or not within a week.  But I'll keep checking here to see other people's progress from our filing date.

Everything is delayed, give some more time

Hi Everyone, My fiance filed an 1-129F petition that was receive on November 28th.  We included a medical expedite request (my fiance has cancer) which was picked up for review when he called to follow up in January.  Since then we've had no response and have been unable to get through to anyone at USCIS.  I was surprised to see on this thread that November petitioners are being approved already.  Will our expedite request have messed this up?

    WHy ??

    Good morning.

Update on on our case. The interview was a success. However my fiancé only had copies of her free to marry paper. So she left with a 221g that says to mail the original and her passport to the embassy.

The embassy signed for the overnight letter on Friday 2/10/17.

About how how long should we expect to receive the visa ?

    Thanks

seems like she should be getting it this week, it takes about five days max .

    Hey everyone!

November 7th filers here and... CASE APPROVED (February 8th)! yay :D

Question: those who got approved, have you received any e-mail or text message notification?

We didn't receive any, we found out our case was approved by checking the USCIS case status page.

Best of luck to everyone waiting and to those that got already approved!

May USCIS give you many approvals (preferably fast :P)!

You should get email or text but only if you sign up for it, you will get confirmation in mail in few days .It takes about three weeks for beneficiary to receive email from embassy.  I receive confirmation of approval in email and hard copy in mail about 3 days later .
