Hope for the best but prepare the worst!
Anyway here is a graph that reflects 26 RFE's today alone for 10/31 receipt date.
They are slowly making progress. Once these are cleared out it should take care of 98% of the October cases then on to 11/1 and beyond.
They seem to concentrate on a few specific days with random cases getting worked as well.
Hej Jim, do you remember for how long they been working on 10/31 , to me seems like for ad least four weeks or so.

Hi guys,
December filer here, so when do you think they will start touching the December files???... I'm kinda depressed with all this waiting... And despite the fact that I read this forum daily I think we are not moving forward with our petitions... and I get discouraged and keep thinking our petition will be approved by December this year... it feels they take longer every day... =(
Im very pessimistic, by my estimate is in 30+ weeks, Hoppe someone will make you fill better.

With how USCIS is working, it is very hard to predict! ?
Yes, it seems like November 15, will be worked on by end of May or June, well, gives me a plenty time to look for a wheelchair before she gets here.

There's definitely a long wait ahead, but a lot of November filers are now starting to get their NOA2, and things are definitely picking up speed now that the holiday backlog is clearing. I'm remaining optimistic that it'll be just over 2 months between NOA1 and NOA2, as that seems to be a pretty accurate turnaround for a lot of cases. Not *all* cases, I know, but a decent amount. I hope yours moves quickly - good luck!
Thanks, you to,good luck.

Seems to me that one day of petitions takes more than a week to process. So I am about 15 weeks away or so. Any thought on my estimate?

I had the mail from the delivery service that our package was received today ! Yay !
We sent it on 01/23 and it arrived today, on 01/25.
I hope the NOA1 will arrive soon !
Yes it will, because they want to cash your check . But that's all you will see for several months. The waiting times are out of control. Don't want to depress anyone but for anyone to look at your files will take months and months, if it goes the way it goes. Sorry for bad news.

Think we have it bad?
Think again.
Non-muslim country, petitioner has clean record and still nearly 8 months from NOA 1 to approval as of Yesterday.
Congrats to them finally.

Thank you!
I am self-employed but I do rent a room in a clinic.
I don't have any children or pets but my partner does, which is why he can't come here nearly as freely as I can go there. As well, being self-employed, I can take off whatever time I like. He does not have that freedom.
My apartment is month to month as I've lived here for over 8 years and the original lease has long ago finished and switched to month-to-month.
All of this makes visiting very easy for me but it also looks like I don't have any real ties here to force me to return.
What the hell you talking about . Get in a car and drive to Canada, .dont forget your passport .

Any news today ?

***Today's comprehensive update***
Scan ran: 10:30 PM EST
Scan finished: 11:50 PM EST
Records: 4997 (Testing reduced my totals pre-ban to under 5k)
NOTE: The list of K1s I used was reduced to only the first 5k records. That's where the IP ban hit, and building out my process to handle the handful of apps after that wasn't worth the effort.
Cases updated today: 68
Approved: 57
RFEs: 7
Other: 4
Data: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1B_oR3Imoi-V1V2LTVYeGI1ZUU
Edit: Keep in mind I'm only counting WACs from WAC1790048000 onward. Records untouched prior to this are not included.
Just reset your IP

Interesting information. Prenups are a hot button topic amongst couples that are engaged. I generally hear two schools of thought:
"If you want a prenup, you are already planning on failing - so why bother getting married?"
vs.
"Getting a prenup is like buying car insurance. I don't plan on using it, but happier to have it if needed"
I can see one also wanting to protect assets for children that are already born or if one spouse has a sizable estate vs. the other. I have a good friend that's a family law attorney. His biggest recommendation to couples before getting married is to make sure both you and your finance's finances are under control. He said money issues and not having a clear expectation on finances is the main underlaying factor in the divorces that he sees in his practice.
Work hard, save, but spend wisely!See, that some of us have right set of mind. Reality is that love have nothing to do with marriage. We are getting into bonding business relationship, with permission from state you are living in, with person that financial differences may just be to huge to ignore, in name of some filling that we have. It is really awful situation if business of marriage will default at some point. And what's fair will not necessary be the outcome of worst case scenario. I am really looking forward to spend rest of my life with my future wife.

We both have assets and we are doing pre-nup. Even though we both are positive that this will be our final marriage (kind of experienced enough, lol), we decided to sort things out in advance in case something goes wrong.
Surely, that is the way to go. No one here wants divorce, but prenup is just like a car insurance, hopefully never will need to use it but just in case, is there.

Hi Art786, you can see from my signature line if it isn't hidden from view that Haltch007 had an NOA 1 of November 1st and his NOA 2 was November 24 so they have been working on 10/31 cases since at least 11/24.
His was approved in 23 days and shortly after that CSC found something else to do to pass the time.
I checked the USCIS app an hour or so ago 7:35pm PST and there were only 7 approvals for 10/31. Including one right next to my WAC #.
So close...well maybe a few more have come through.
Jim
Great , hope you get is sun , my is from midle of November ,so im not to optymistick ,will have to find somthing to do to take my mind of this .

So if you have assets it might not be a bad idea.
But if the spouse can claim they were "pressured" into signing it in a divorce, then it can go out the window in court, defaulting to whatever the divorce law is in your state.
It's best to get one done, if one is to be done, well well ahead of the nuptials. Like a year ahead.
That reduces the "I was pressured into signing it." problem.
But that doesn't work too well on a 90 day K1 visa for most.
And an immigrant spouse can more easily make an "I was pressured" argument. In many cases they could also claim a language barrier prevented them from understanding what they signed.
I do not intend to do one, personally.
Note: I am not a lawyer. So take my comment for what it's worth.
I feel that this is the one for me and not planing any unfortunate splits , but people are same becouse thay constantly change .

Also, could someone check how many weeks they have been working on 10/31/16 files. That may give us estimated wait time.
-
Anyway, this is not going anywhere soon. , So question to this community is, how many of you have already or planning to get prenuptial agreement? Of course, if you have any assets
