    Hi art,

Whatever happens inside USCIS we can't really tell. If there's a hold-up due to system change, we can't do anything but wait :( it's just unfair to us cos we have submitted our application way before the new presidency and if they'd act fair (which of course this will depend on trumps' order), They would stop accepting any application from all different kinds of US visa applications and don't leave us hanging and waiting. Whatever it is it worries me.

But then I don't want to over react since there's no solid statement to back up this theory.

Let's hope for the best. I don't see any reason why would they stop accepting legal process. Worse case is just a delay.

    Val

Yes, the waiting thing is getting out of control, one of us called to find out about it, they told him to call in five months. It is not five months to complete the process but for someone to look at your file. Unfortunately wouldn't expect anything in coming weeks.

Can you provide the link? I couldn't find it nowhere. This is creating a panic? lol

I only found this link: http://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-poised-to-wield-executive-power-to-make-immigration-changes-1485116367

Which was released yesterday. but only talked about

    Cut funding for sanctuary cities

    End DACA protections

    Reject refugees

    Speed up deportations

    Announce a border wall

Toughen rules for Central American migrants

Tighten legal visa system: The Obama administration allowed spouses of certain skilled foreign workers to work as well. It also expanded a program that lets foreign students stay in the U.S. while looking for work. Both policies could be reversed.

Are we affected by this? We are entering US in legal way. SO i hope not.

Thats the one , from my point of view any even minor changes will create huge dylays .Thay all will stop and go to updating traning for days .

What would they say in the news? " Some folks throughout America found love abroad and it's now taking 90 days instead of 30? The general public would just laugh and not give a #######"

After 5 or 6 months we can call our "bureaucrat" but I don't see it taking that long for Oct, Nov, Dec, filers. God I hope not.

Im just being voice of  frustration and real situation that we are in, seeing how this whole thing is  going no where, don't really care about one approval from four months ago. realistically this will take several months for anyone to look at your file. This whole system is broken and not working ad all, will take months if not years to fix it, and that is if anyone gives a damn about fixing it. You have over 20000 applications by number on front of you, not mentioning another twenty thousand that are hanging there, and that's if we lucky. So for anyone looking for relief in six months old  application getting processed, just get real. , because we looking on same time,  before they get to us.Or rather he or she because looks like only one person is working on it .And lets hope that 10 foot high  boxes of files wont fall on him/her and whole great progress will stop to time that he come back to work from disability.   If false hope helps anyone great! But it just pissing me off. And for all man here this whole thing is still better than getting involve with local women. So no choice but just hanging there and wait. Some of you may think that I'm screw up but it don't matter life influence us different ways.  Hope that was entertaining.

Nope. It's not an error, everything is correct. They haven't touched any K-1 cases with NOA1 dated for Nov 14.

Over a thousand of K1 visa petitions were filed in November alone.. and you're trying to be positive with a few cases being adjudicated per day?! If this continues at this pace some November cases wouldn't get approved until next fall. We are talking about 40 approved petitions per weekdays... what kind of weekend action you expect to see? 2 more cases approved at most... who cares? Think about it... 40 petitions per week. 15 min per petition? 15min X 40 = 10 hours lets say it took them twice the amount of time to process each petition 10 hrs. x 2 = 20 hours. So that's 20 hours of approving time per WEEK!! Did they allocated 1 person for our hunnybunny petitions?

I just did some sums - and don't want to depress anyone - but unless the CSC picks up the pace it could take them another twelve weeks to get to the cases received on November 9th - this will put them over their five month limit so I imagine they will have to start pushing these cases soon.  There must be people at the csc, who are employed just to ensure that the targets are met, who are doing bigger number crunching than this - in which case, at some point soon we should begin to see bigger numbers being pushed through.

    Keep your fingers crossed!

Ok Nico22 we can start with RFE's.

Per one of my weekend post it appears as if there was some CSC activity on a Saturday.

Yesterday was a holiday MLK day which is normally a non working day for most non-essential Federal Workers so I assumed no activity yesterday Monday.

    I was wrong. :bonk:

Apparently many at the service center are contract workers and not actually Federal Employees so that may be why they were working a bit this 3 day weekend.

I did not see any approvals yesterday however we have plenty of RFE's to go around for cases received on 10/31.

It appears the pattern is RFE's issued throughout the day or at earlier specific time.

I ran the search around 3PM PST which is CSC time and below is what came up.

Will run again around 8pm -4 hours from now and expect to see many APPROVALS

For what it's worth, I contacted my congressman.  I got a call back from an administrative assistant that gave me the usual canned answer of "you are within the processing time, so there is nothing we can do until you are out of it."  Then I explained about the delays at CSC and kept insisting she call the CSC to see if she could find out anything.  She finally agreed to do it and called me back with the result the next day.  Basically, nothing extraordinary is happening.... they will try to hire more people to speed things up.

So, at least somebody at CSC heard from a Congressman -- I recommend that others try to force a call to CSC from their congressman so that they realize that their delays are not unnoticed.  Remember, you are their client.  The other semi, sort of good news is that supposedly nothing extraordinary is going on (supposedly).  Of course, the overriding fact is more bureaucratic BS without much data.....

  8. This is auto response I got Thank you for contacting my office. Your thoughts and concerns are very important to me and you will receive a more detailed response shortly. I sincerely appreciate your patience in waiting for this response, as our mail volume is often significant.

P.S.  I was the one who asked the question on Twitter about CSC and got no answer.  They only do it for one hour once a month (#AskUSCIS), usually on the first or second Tuesday, but there are several USCIS Twitter accounts, I recommend that those with Twitter accounts (get one for free if you don't have one), search for "USCIS" and send tweets asking about this; maybe if they are deluged we will get an answer or have some impact.  They also have Facebook accounts.  Let's make our presence felt.....  Incredible that they only have one hour per month live!

.Hej guys, I just write to NY congress women, complaining about this situation, Think all of us should do it. Fact is that as USA  citizen we have right to marry whoever we want,   fact is that USCS collected over $150.000 USD from us, seems like our civil rights are being validated and we are not getting what we paid for.So if anyone is afraid retaliation just sit and wait, but if you want something, looks like will have to complain and fight for it. Posible that it will be like throwing a stone in deep well but who knows? Pissed as any of you !

No sorry if it was confusing.

I mean for all the I-129F cases received by USCIS on October 31st they have only worked 65 TOTAL in the last 2 months they still have 287 basically untouched.

They approved ZERO cases today and maybe only 2 or 3 approvals during all of last week this is just for cases received on October 31st.

Reject might be wrong form completely I don't know.

    Jim

That means less than one a day. And more than 300 days to go for us from November.

Alert! Ok lets see how active CSC was today regarding I-129F.

For cases received by USCIS on 10/31 there were ZERO approvals again today per the USCIS Phone App.

Maybe they are not very motivated on Mondays. <_<

A small tiny tiny bit of good news there were TWO RFE's issued today from cases received on 10/31

So here is where it stands

    31 approvals

    3 rejects

32 RFEs' (was 30 on Friday the 6th)

    and

    287 Other - or Unworked.

Those numbers for just one days worth of I-129F's.

    Not very promising at all.

I will check for 10/28 receipt dates in a few hours I can only take so much bad news at a time...LOL

    Jim

  13.

Hope so, if we are November followers means that we have ad least month to hear anything if we are lucky, of course if you believe in luck, my filling is that starting January 20, all work related visas will take priority, since Trump is making immigration changes. Anything else will be further delayed. If anyone is interested in converting me to hopeful and positive attitude, please do so.

  14.  Again .To all of those who thinks that usic is in business to get happy couples together, To your surprise they are not!! Thair main job is to eliminate fraud. So send all you got to proof them wrong, pictures passport entry stamps, hotel bills with yours finances and hotel receptionist,  original  signature on it ( they will run their finger on it to check if is original ) credit card statements and atm withdrawals .etc.Take some pictures with landmarks that can not be questionable as local newspaper in hand and blow up the date on separate pick.    Another think, we are screwed if they are processing applications from six months ago, there will be no bachelor party for any of us ad least til October I hope. Good idea check a lot of youtube vid. and get yourself familiar what other people did.
