RFE fixed yet? Call tier 2. Let them know they messed up the first time and it's a simple fix. they got to reviewing and approving mine the next day. 

Any people here with the San Jose, CA field office? Still stuck at scheduled for interview. Have you guys gotten a interview date yet?

Is it true that AP doesn't really update  online when approved in conjunction with EAD (filed concurrently)? I see all my updates on the EAD approval and mailing  and really none for the AP.

Mine is the same as your case @DeepakChani. They either lost my MCs or they have no idea how to read MCs that do not have the new married surname listed as attached to the bride's name on it. 

The RFIE says my application name doesn't match my IDs/USCIS recorded name. (Facepalm).

 

Will respond with two new photocopies of the MC with my husband's surname highlighted.

How many days usually does it take for "New Card is being produced" to actually having the EAD /AP card in hand?

mines got approved today. issue for my RFE was names on 765 and 131 forms don't match my name on other documents. I know it was dumb. I clarified on the RFE my marriage cert shows name change. maybe you have same issue. rfe recieved a week ago and it was approved today. 

I am on day 120 of waiting for the San Jose office. I wish I could tell the uscis how much I love waiting for them :) 

Update on my RFE for EAD and AP :They received it at the national benefit center.

Nope. All I did was change my maiden last name to my married last name( husband's last name). No other changes. 

Let's play a game shall we. I got a RFE for EAD and AP. What was the reason? 

A. Uscis does not see the "other names used" section of the form 

B. Uscis doesnt review the marriage certificate carefully to see name change 

C. BOTH A And B 

correct answer is C. Just wrote a memo, attached marriage certificate (with arrow) showing name change.

How long is the medical valid for again? 

It's funny cause I did some timeline digging on VJ and EAD /AP RFEs are fairly rare. Not sure what they want. Will update you all once I get a response. :) 

Anyone had a EAD or AP RFE? I wanted to know how long did it take for them to approve you after getting the RFE? Please advise. Thank you! 

Anyone in Sept have a RFE for EAD or AP? Were you successful in getting the EAD /AP combo card? 

Did you guys send the official marriage certificate for the I765 and i131? I sent a copy and wonder if my RFE is because of that.

That is amazing. Can you verify if your MSC # ends with 7xx or 8xx? I'm a 8xx and Oct 12 NOA too. I want to know how close they are to the 8xx

I remember this tactic was great to verify social security number processing. It didn't work for me when I ran my MSC or I94 numbers.

But hoping that more October filers see some approvals soon.

We should be lucky they don't begin reviewing end of the year backwards. Knowing that they are possible of this is scary lol.
