Both have the same information so you can use either-
The reason many use tax returns is that depending on when you file, IRS might not have the transcript ready. Since it can take up to 6 weeks (if you did a paper return) before the IRS recognizes your filings. So if you file, you get the return immediately instead of waiting for transcripts online.

Yes sorry, I meant the end. I'm guessing they'll expect 2017 by the time of my fiance's interview. I'm visiting her in 2 weeks and was going to take the stuff to her so I didn't have to mail it. I guess I'll have to get my 2017 stuff done by then.

Ok, if you have passed the background checks, then yeah, you are on the desk of the lazy adjudicator.    Hopefully they are not too slow and have not spilled their bean burrito on your evidence and need to send the dreaded RFE.  

I didn't receive an email ,however both old website and app say approved so I'm going with that  congratulations

I woke up pass 3am my time and checked the app (I got used to checking it all the time) I didnt even reload the page but it says case was approved! I couldnt believe and checked my status on the old website and it says we’re approved!   Now I’ll try to go back to sleep

It is the beneficiary who is applying for the visa.  That form should be filled out like they would answer, not the petitioner.

I'm pretty sure this is the current standard USCIS script tbh. We *KNOW* that people beyond 8/30 have been approved. Many of them. I think quite a few people have reported that calling results in the same outdated info from customer service.

Hi Naes, Any sign of your approval yet? it sounds a little odd, but I am feeling a sort of NOA2 guilt since ours was approved last week and we have left the September people still waiting, I hope it happens for you all soon.

Hey berries!! I just passed to wish you all a good week of approvals, after we got our noa2 we spent a few days celebrating and pinching each other. But I understand the frustration and we will just be fully happy and tranquil when we get our visa in hand, I'm saying this for everyone here, so I wish everyone here gets the approval notice in the next few days. We are all in the same boat and only who goes through this process can understand how hard it is. Let's go dear berries, we'll all be with our loved ones in no time!!
